Which means one or other equals, or is worth more than, pick 41. I would be staggered if we couldn't find another spot to use 41. Worst list in the comp!

Bump from yesterday for people complaining about our lack of forwards. Spencedog, Roo, Membrey will be what we're working with at this stage. Maybe McKenzie as well depending on how the draft goes.

EDIT: Also Tom Lee. We're not devoid of options.

i agree and hopefully we can just get membrey on the list now

not sure i am reading your post right, but just in case, you still need the list spot though, so a player would have to go if we are taking tominlson (which was the point of my post). unless we are using pick 21 or 22 somehow, but i think that defeats the purpose of trading stanley out

The way I see it we will draft 4 & upgrade 4 rookies plus add Membrey. That's 9 spots (Hayes, Jones, TDL, Dunell, Stanley, Milera, Schnieder, Gwilt & Maister).

If we take an extra early pick like 1 for 4 & 7 we wont use 41 (give it to GWS or Syd for Membrey). Same goes if a player is involved in the pick 1 deal - we don't use 41.

the only time you see a player moved to the rookie list is when they have an optional year on their contract or when both parties agree to it (usually they do it for bigger reasons, which just isnt applicable in this scenario). we are not going to do it, has bigger ramifications/problems/shit fight
