How though?

Odds are neither will make it but Tom Lamb at least has some elite qualities rather than just being tall.

I get Lewie is one of us etc.. but he's not very good at all. I wish him the best obviously but I'd 100% rather take Tom Lamb, attitude problems and all.

He's shown nothing for a couple of years. Why wouldn't we take a punt on someone else who doesn't appear to have attitude problems and is probably so grateful to get picked up that he will work his behind off?
Elite qualities are worthless without the work ethic.

One potentially destabilises the club for little likely return. One doesn’t.

On a scale of bromance to wristy in the gabba pool how does it make you feel?
Eddie McGuire getting a wristy from Damien Barrett in the Gabba pool.

Right on Sab. I feel this forum is really starting to come together and getting a good community vibe to it

Mods have done/do a great job. George has done a tonne of good work in that regard too.

Slowly we are seeing less of the flame and shame posts and becoming more accepting of the different personalities on here

It's moving along nicely
Ripping post

Am looking forward to seeing these three come out the other side of pre season training.
Doulton doesn’t look a bad build already, only a rookie, but could turn into one of our most important players.

Hope Hunter keeps the long hair headband look...

Will be a fan favourite no worries, hope he plays rnd 1

Be shocked if by the end of the year he doesn't pick himself

I'd suggest prepare to be shocked. When was the last time this happened at St. Kilda?

Young player establishing himself in the team by the end of his first year?

JB, Dunstan, Gresh?

Edit- granted the team is in a different place now but still hopeful

Good to be hopeful! Though I don't recall any of those boys picking themselves by the end of their first year. I know Dunstan had some big games, but he's still not picking himself!

Anyways who knows what happens.

Always reminds me of this guy

Doulton Langlands.

WHAT A NAME.

Prince Doulton Langlands

Nickname = ROYAL

Ganglands sounds tougher. Royal sounds like some ponce throwing flowers to the crowd at half time breaks.

I remember when we moved into our house the only toilet had Armitage Shanks as the brand on the bowl, perhaps with Dolton we could stop recruiting Jacks and look for names to toilet bowl manufacturers or other assorted ceramic ephemera. It might limit our recruiting somewhat though.

Most of our high draft picks with a bit of talent seem to play some footy in their first season. HC should have the rising star wrapped up by the end of march they won't drop him after that.
