This "little fight" between a few posters reminds me of this gem on C10.
For the record Aiston is a nice guy, Ive spoken to him a few times at my gym. From what I understand, the female presenter is also good friends with him too, it was a low blow but not malicious.
Maybe. But first look is always a bonus.I think our midfield's success is more dependent on Brad Crouch returning to his best than Sam Jacobs personally.

Look at this, it's like a killing field over there

9 picks, 1 remaining in the system... for a different team
Caved for what?? We got market value for GovSo who is calling 5aa today?
Justin Reid on, tell us why we caved so early.
Cool reference man. Robert brought in some spine.I don't know about all these "Port outplayed us" claims.
They "outplayed us" because they have a clueless coach who FUBAR-ed their 2018 season and two of their top-6 players wanted out, likely from a combination of disillusionment with the club/game-plan and a realization that the new recruits had eaten up a good chunk of the salary cap.
Pretty sure if Robert Shaw was still our coach and two of our top-6 players didn't want to play for us anymore, we would "outplay" Port during trade period too.
Zero because it won't happen. That would be the correct decision to make.
For a start we chose to take Wayne Carey over MP. That's the reason there wasn't any money. I still have nightmares with Carey hitting that blasted point post. I was there that night and saw it happen live. That year we were playing premiership football until he got hurt.
Sloane and Lynch have stayed along with Talia. Blows your remarks abouts Gaff and McGovern to pieces.
From all accounts we tried to get both Neale and Hurn back only to be rebuffed.
A Graders left for big money from the two expansion clubs. Our drafts in those years were ruined. Maximum return from Cameron, Lever and Gov. yet still you bitch.
You suffer from selective memory to bolster your deluded POV.
For a start how old was Carey and how old was Pavlich. You know there's 10 YEARS different in age. We drafted burns in the same year, he was almost on the pension. Carey was over 30 and been out the game a year.
Sloane Lynch Talia offered nothing like Gaff and McGovern. Around $200k-$400k more than Sloane never mind the others
Anyone who knows the crows pay structure know they wont make an offer to good to be refused or at least so tempting.
Jacobs is only 30. Ruckman play well into their 30s. Hell some of them start hitting their prime at that age.
Only if he gets something resembling a leap .....he's not strong enough to be a jostling ruckman, and the tell tale signs of aging are there, when you ability to hold your ground goesDon't forget he carried a lower back injury for most of the year. Both ROB and Hunter were injured as well. People forget that when bagging him. It really affected his play causing him to struggle most of the season. If fit he bounces back in a big way.

So W.A. is so good no-one want to leave?
Neale and mcGovern chose to leave to clubs at the bottom? Thats says it all.
It's best to not be on here at this time of year. Betwetters are EVERYWHERE, with their empty complaints. No, I can be ruthless as anyone however the over the top negativity is off the Richter scale.
Perhaps a bit more balance is required.
No maybe offered others more to stay or come for more and reduce list cloggers.Next you'll be getting pissed off about not securing D Jarman and Robran in 91. Different era. Time to move on.
So we should have offered blokes who have stayed for less more?
This is peak nuff.
No maybe offered others to stay or come for more and reduce list cloggers.
Its not that hard to comprehend is it.
Turned over the list more and taken more kids in drafts that frees up a lot of cash to pay the required amount to keep the cream
Whether or not Port played a masterstroke or ****** their list sideways with a backflip on last year is irrelevant, the fact is that they positioned themselves ahead of us at each pick in the first round, successfully undermining any negotiating position Reid thought we were going to have by doing nothing.
Losing two of your only three good players under 25 is hardly doing nothing.
If we lost Matt Crouch and Rory Laird our draft hand would have been so good.
you make finals 4 out of 9 years, Is that not an issue? Do you think that defines successful?Your particular grammatical idiosyncrasies are indeed hard to comprehend.
I comprehend that you're generally unhappy.
There are many rational bases to be unhappy. You have not identified any.

We accepted unders for one of our best dozen players early, on the promise of being able to use that to move up the draft, then sat back with the picks and did nothing but bring in two project rookies, while other clubs held out for better returns, and more aggressively wheeled and dealed.
Unless they manage to move up between now and draft day, then it's been an abject failure from Reid.
Best dozen players?
McGovern?
You realise we had Mitch not Jeremy right?
Yes, I do, and he was, despite the best efforts of some to whitewash the story so that the guy who walked out wasn't really that good anyway.
