And just in, HS believes the self serving rubbish he's being fed. More at 5.
Breaking news - Old man throws some pathetic shade when someone disagrees with him.

You can't accept it, that's fine.

We always want to make the 8, how has thst worked for us? You support Harto over Butts the last 3 weeks to get the 4 points, good for you.
If we make the 8 with the young squad we're going to roll out next year that'll be nothing short of a miracle.

So yeah I don't have a problem with it.

I'm all for trading washed up senior players but Talia is off limits for me. He still gives a sh*t and isnt afraid to speak out.

That's why we probably want to get rid of him.

Rocks the boat too much for our safe soft **** leadership

If the Talia conversation re started, perhaps the club, out and out wants 3 high picks this year as they've identified 3 super talents that they reckon they can get and rebuild around, without the high pick from Crouch (remembering that it looks like the club was hoping for 2 to 17 from him) maybe we've decided we have to sacrifice another person???

But why sacrifice Talia (unless it's to free up cap space), when you can sacrifice Gooch, Mackay, Poholke, etc.

I have heard that the Talia talks are on again with Essendon.

Fair confident on this info

Personally, I can’t see him moving this year.

If talks have re-started they’ve probably asked his manager how many years Adelaide has on the table... they’ll offer one more year with easily achievable performance triggers.

It's a funny off season & alot of time left to go in trade week. What will be interesting is a few clubs seem to be sitting silent and a few deals are on the table that may not get done.

We have a few quality senior players on the tail end of contracts that quickly may be availible commodity for late trades.

For any club that's under pressure to ensure they land in the finals in 2021 I'm sure putting longer contracts in front of Talia or Matty Crouch would be inviting conversations.

And to be honest both these players are an easy way for Justin to get another high draft pick.

Talia wouldn't get a high pick.

That's going to be enough points? I realise there's value for WB in us not bidding, but think they will need more points than below.

I'd also throw in a swap of 50 for 54, gets to a 116 point upgrade. Not bidding at pick 1 adds at least another 386 points (more if North don't bid at pick 2). The Dogs would be at a minimal deficit at that point.

That would be hard to beat, unless Collingwood's deal involved getting Treloar/ Stephenson to Dogs. Getting Collingwood's first next year would be pointless if the deficit remained.

It would take a high pick to get us to release him from his contract this year.

With Hartigan gone, we'd be left with absolutely no experienced key defenders.
Which is precisely why he won't go. Can't imagine anyone would pay the price we would want.

Cos Talia gets you a way higher pick that Gooch, Mackay, Poholke ever will.
We already will struggle to use all our points picks.

Talia is going nowhere & he has made that clear.

I know DT personally and can confirm 100% he is going nowhere. Loves the club and is pumped for next year with the Crows.
Thanks for that as found that rumour annoying, as Daniel seems to be hugely respected player by young players and all at club and supporters.
and of course the backbone of our defence and look forward to him locking down the KFP and Doedee intercepting everything coming in .
