Well the eDPS list was posted only a few days ago but either way other than the top 2 there is clearly no consensus yet on who are the best players in this draft. Usually in the final few months a lot of the power rankings look pretty similar but right now before the Championships they are all over the place.

The champs will flatten out most of the draft variables.

State depth charts will be interesting. ie. I'm not sure how WA will fit all their KPF's on the field at the same time and so too for all the VIC mids, maybe a few will slide purely on exposure.

Weitering is 23yo, was p1, is contracted until end of 2024. just entering his prime!
can't see carlton letting him go unless for ALOT of draft picks

Suns won't give him up unless for ALOT of draft picks

highly unlikely could be an understatement.. but would be great to get another classy tall forward in the next couple of years
would love to see Lukosius in Swans colours.. a forward line of..
McDonald + Lukosius
Heeney + Hayward
Paps + Gulden / Wicks
with Amartey off the bench to play 2nd ruck

still think Blakey may play a (good) roll up forward.. and Sheather is worth watching

hes playing at half back. I think the Suns play him there because they couldn't play 2 x 18-20yo key forwards, and Lukosius is more versatile than King. He was a key forward in the juniors and I wouldn't be surprised to see him play forward again soon. He'd also be a gun on the wing.
Give the Suns 2 x 1st rounders.. or Stephens and a 1st rounder

Seriously though, it's wasted energy even thinking it's possible. If there was any whiff at all of him wanting to move, then the SA teams would jump in and throw 2 years of draft picks towards GC. In their eyes, he's the one that got away

Any good players out there studying economics or finance and feeling like they might want to set themselves up in financial services after football? It helps to have a bit of a reputation in the city, I know a good club for this sort of thing

I haven't looked into it that much but from experience twins very often perform similarly academically.

The main additions have been Sam Darcy, who has rocketed up to 3rd, Judson Clarke, Darcy Wilmot, Jye Amiss, Sam Butler and Jake Soligo. While Jacob van Rooyen, Rhett Bazzo, Lewis Rayson, Jesse Motlop and a few others have fallen out.

Sam Darcy is the story everyone knows about now, he's going to be a gun and I'm genuinely very interested what he'll end up doing in the Bulldogs lineup (I don't reckon he'll move Naughton to a wing or anything crazy like that). Amiss, Butler, Soligo and Clarke were all on the outer last time but have come in with consistent and/or standout performances. I've particularly enjoyed Soligo's last two performances that have landed him at 30. Ben Hobbs and Josh Ward aren't additions but both of them have had good performances recently and they're both types I already liked.

Van Rooyen is the main player falling. I think he's been relatively unlucky where his main points of exposure this year have been the all stars game, which he didn't perform particularly well in, and his few WAFL League games, in which he looked fine but he hasn't been able to get back due to a mixture of form and glandular fever. I have no doubt he'll get back if we ever get champs this year, but for now he's falling purely because others are performing better for me.

The players that are close at the moment include Ned Long, Tom Brown, Lewis Rayson, Blake Howes, Morgan Ferres and Luke Nankervis

I dont care how the rest of the draft falls but can we please get Erasmus. Other favourites of mine are Williams, Wilmot, Goater and Howes

It is dumb to even consider trying to do a trade with Essendon. It never ends well and just holds up other more reasonable trading options.
