The Crouch compo and our second becomes the WB first rounder.LOL
This boards infatuation with Rankine is next level, pray tell how do we turn Matt Crouch into Rankine given Matt's a Restricted Free Agent.
Keays is not remotely near Matt Crouch's best output. Its an interesting conundrum the club has got itself in with Crouch and our senior mids. It seemed to me earlier in the year that either Laird or Crouch would potentially be moved on and with Laird re signing, it leaves Crouch in a precarious position. Old Crows, the make the eight and anything could happen Crows, would sign him up to a 4 year deal and trot out Crouch, Laird, Sloane and Keays at centre bounces from here on out. Will list management see the writing on the wall with our surplus of similar types and have the tough convo with Crouch about seeking a trade?
Don't get me wrong, at his his best Crouch is a more than serviceable mid. We've currently got two mids in Laird and Keays who are matching or exceeding Matts best output though, a small defender and a delisted rookie. Putting loyalties aside to me its a no brainer, If we could turn Crouch into Rankine as an example we should be doing it.
Debateable, how often have we seen Crouch at his best? 2017 and the tail end of last year?Keays is not remotely near Matt Crouch's best output.
We won't be trading for rankine this year. He's ooc in 2022.LOL

Simply by matching and forcing a trade like what Geelong had to do with Cameron and if CGS believe Rankine will leave the following year.......LOL

good, operation get rankine 2022. they dont deserve both rankine and luko regardless. they were given a priority pick because they couldnt keep their gun players and then punished the rest of the league for it, fu** off.
Could be there for our 2nd rounder now..with roberts maybe dropping down the order a bit with his injury..
And that all falls apart when Matt is happy to stay if we match.Simply by matching and forcing a trade like what Geelong had to do with Cameron and if CGS believe Rankine will leave the following year.......
Bad news for young Arlo but that might just be good news for Crows. I felt he was tracking as a bit of a bolter with his reserves form. Certainly inside the top 10.
I still don’t think he’ll last all the way to Crows 2nd BUT, Crows may at least be a chance now if they can trade up a bit.
Luko is a mile better than rank if both were gettable
I think Izak is a beauty but might benefit from being in a team where he can just be a role player through until about 70-80 games. Both have been disappointing. Luko is a bit unaccountable. Not sure why he gets such a huge pass on this board considering those types of players generally cop the most sh*t.
I haven't seen much from Izak that makes me think he will ever be a team first type player that will ever "just blend in", quite selfish actually.I think Izak is a beauty but might benefit from being in a team where he can just be a role player through until about 70-80 games.
Strikes me that there is an expectation he has to be performing party tricks all the time which is not AFL football. I think Nicks is creating a pretty good team first, unselfish culture down there. Might suit young Izak development to just blend in to a role for a while.
I’m torn. I want to watch us win. But if we lose to Carlton, and Collingwood beat Fremantle, and Gold Coast beat North then we will be back with a top 3 draft pick.
Maybe so. If he were to end up here i wpuld have him playing out of a forward pocket with bursts on the wing to start with with a view if he could get his output up to playing him majority on the wingI think Izak is a beauty but might benefit from being in a team where he can just be a role player through until about 70-80 games.
