Just for my information, why is there no interest in Tom Lynch as a DFA? I get he's a bit old but he's quality for a year or two while we source or develop a long term replacement. Has he dropped off in the last year or so??

Current Status: Poor man's Mason Wood.

Doesn't get a game in front of Coops or Membrey, probs not even Mason Wood

“AFL Live” has a list of the maximum speed reached by players this year.

Brad Hill was the second fastest with a time of 36.6 km/h, but what surprised me was that only 8 players went quicker than Tom Membrey’s 35.6 km/h.

I’d love to see him utilise that top end speed to advantage more often so he doesn’t have to fly for as many pack marks against guys 10/15cm taller than him.

(Oleg Markov was quickest with a 37.4 but he is the son if an Olympic silver medalist so it is probably to be expected!)

A win but a close one. Showed we were fairly evenly matched last year. Some prime performances from Paddy, Hanners and Steele lifted us. A phenomenal win but not exactly the type you lord over the other team as evidence of superiority. I’d love to beat them by 110 next year to shut them up
I'd rather match them and beat them on the back of a handful of elite performances in a final that thrash them while they are in a trough of desperate form in an ultimately meaningless and instantly forgettable H&A game.

Saints beat Bulldogs in finals. That's just what happens. That's what will happen next time too. That attrocity we served up mid season is of zero consequence.

Yep that’s what happens.
That’s why their fans and ex players hate us.

Sit down, take your shoes off and settle in Scrap.
Might be a fun few weeks for you.
Honestly mate IDGAF this year as long as l get to see Seb Ross tell us how exciting it is te be at (insert club here) and how much he's looking forward to gett'n to know the boys and work hard.
Happy to let him go for nothing if he's headed to Carlton.

I think they've been pretty smart with Billings.
They have a contract there for him which isn't chicken feed. If someone else offers him exactly that contract and he takes it we'd probably get reasonable compensation. Maybe the 2nd round pick after our pick that someone else has.

But Billings would probably be hoping to get more, and that would increase what we get....maybe , end of first round might be possible.
