Any evidence to suggest we wouldn't be hammered using Xerri?
Looking at his stats they are similar, however Xerri does have a very high ration of contested vs uncontested disposals. I like that.
I think i'd be happy with a future 3rd, or a future 2nd with a third coming back.

From what I've heard from North fans, (haven't watched him so could be off) this guy is pretty good at taps, so maybe spending a year learning from Ryder he could be a tap specialist which isn't Marshall's strength. I'm ok with a 3rd and they probably meet in the middle for it.

I've never been locked out but gone up to the back row top tier against Essendon about 10 years ago.

’s proposed move to St Kilda appears to be all but dead.

While neither party could categorically say it was off on Wednesday afternoon, there was no indication the Saints or Roos would budge.

St Kilda was prepared to part with a future third rounder, but North Melbourne was adamant Xerri, who has played 12 senior games in four seasons, is worthy of a future second rounder.

I walked past people heading back to their cars for that Carlton game.
Medallion Club, Corporates and expensive premium tickets would of had people turning away... its socialist class structure is the stadiums biggest issue. The true amount of seats available for the average footy fan is much less then the said capacity of the stadium.

Very good point ... G.A. was packed to the gills (our neighbour was up on L3 so we wandered up to say hello, and it was an absolute zoo), which means you're spot on - the empty space was probably Medallian Club / Corp and the reserved seat members who didn't show, so a shutout does make sense.
