Exactly, it’s just nonsense, but it’s Gringo, so you’ve got to take it with a massive grain of salt, because as he admits himself, he likes to put a very large amount of mayo on what he says.

Oh cool so what Gringo says is nonsense because you don't like his point of view but what you say should be taken with respect?

Well played champ.

No risk no reward.
It was regarded as a genius move at the time by everyone in the media.
I still believe it was worth doing. We gave up pick ten if I recall and got 7 and 8, Battle and Long - both of the C's could become stars for us.

It's another one where if you are going to gamble you had better nail it. 5 years on and Battle and Long aren't best 22 and Clark or Coffield which ever was that pick are still not playing to capacity. To me it has to be seen as a busts far. If the two of Clark and Coffield step up next year it will be a redeemed deal but right now it's not so flash.

Will Brodie’s a bust

cant quite work out what we gave up, but im guessing the picks in the 60s will come in after the F/S bids and will help with points.

45 is the only pick there that is ours by the looks of it

So 45 for 62, 66 and a future 4th

In terms of this year's points we've lost about 100 if that's right?

But gained a future 4th.

Mist be something else happening

Reigning premier with a stacked midfield picking up Dunstan, he must be sh*t.
Their midfield isn’t “stacked” though, at least if you’re referring to depth. It’s actually one of the most shallow in the league, with the only ones who go through there basically being Oliver, Petracca and Viney, and a little bit of Harmes.

In the GF for instance they only had 5 guys attend a centre bounce (who weren’t rucking) and it was those first 3 attending the majority of them, with Harmes coming in for 7 and Sparrow 3.

With Jones and Vandenberg now gone, they literally had just one guy outside the 22 who played in the GF who plays midfield, in Jordan, so if they didn’t get someone like Dunstan, their midfield depth outside the 22 would have been one guy. Who’s 20yo and has played 25 games.

Melbourne actually makes a lot of sense for Dunstan. Their list probably has the least genuine “mids” of any club in the comp.

Trade down when we need points. That’s the high IQ plays we love to see

I feel like there’s a lot of random shit going on. Just hope that our list management/recruiting team have it under control and surprise us by trade periods/draft nights end.
