Saints give up 49 (287 points) and get back 62 (123) and 66 (80) = 203 points + 2022 ADL fourth rounder

If ADL finish bottom 5, the 2022 future 4th will be worth approx 158-207 points

So we are looking at net gain of between 74-123 points if ADL finish bottom 5.

So we trade 287 points for 203 points in this years draft but we also received next years fourth worth around 80 points. I guess we will pass next years fourth for that North ruckman. We’ll also have Dunstan compo towards the Windy & Owens.

Do you gain more points if teams start passing? those picks in the 60's might turn into picks in the 50's by the end. Are they worth more if they do or do they retain their previous value?

But Collingwood have picks 22, 36, 43, 46, 48, 55, 58 and Dogs have picks 23, 44, 45. Most of these picks will be used in bids to get Daicos and Cameron.

So those picks in the 60s will move forward and give us more points for our bids later in the draft.

It's actually smart because by the time Collingwood, Bulldogs, etc trade-in picks for FS players and those picks become picks in the 50s it will become a big points win for us.

They didnt have a first rounder this year so have traded theirs from next year into this years.

Based on that, 62 could move to 54 or 123 to 220 points & 66 to 58, 80 to 170 points…

I keep forgetting about the fact that the points move up for each pick. I don’t have time to do all the maths for that so I’m now just gonna assume we’ve pulled off a huge steak

Reckon they both will end up as early 50's picks (450 points or so)

Someone said that because a bunch of picks before the 60s belong to clubs like the dogs and the pies who will be matching, everything after will move up about 6 picks.

Well they traded out their future first, so more likely just trying to get into the first round this year. If they rate them then that’s that, but should be some good players around pick 19 anyway.

If it’s not a Owens and Windhager, idk who else, doubt Mac Andrew is there at 19
