Every friggin year you say the same thing.
Nah, "next year is a really strong draft"....Is this the year we try and trade our future first into this year's draft?
Take 2 first rounders.
Nah, "next year is a really strong draft"....
I'd have been doing that last year (2021) and making a play for FAs this year.
I think there is always a role for the less efficient midfield bull; and Taranto is a good height, prolific and fast, hes a good mark and finisher in front of goal. In the midfield full time he could win a brownlow and become a clearance beast.Do we need more players who can’t kick?
Do you still feel we are getting pick 2 for Crouch?I can feel it!

The fact you didn't say 'pass' tells me you would agree and happily swop Crouch and Sloane (ie delist) for Taranto. You'd probably throw in Keays but we need depth.

I think we don't have a tall mid, he's 188 cm which puts him in rare standing for the crows.Problem is we don’t lack for his type. We have duplicated and triplicated that skills set already
He literally offers nothing new.
He's getting more of the ball this year in the trials so far. He did well in some of the match sims. He's definitely improving and he is even is tackling a little more. Still needs to work on his game Tex.Has Newchurch shown anything to suggest he will be a decent player? Very disappointing at SANFL level so far

So he's taller than some of our mids, albeit he's hardly Patrick Cripps, Bontompelli proportions?I think we don't have a tall mid, he's 188 cm which puts him in rare standing for the crows.

I don't think D'Aloia will go that high personally with some questions about his athleticism and really he's more of the type we already have well covered midfield wise.It certainly would round out our prospect pool, and it's probably doable as long as both don't require a top 5 pick.

I just picked him as the highest ranked SA mid.I don't think D'Aloia will go that high personally with some questions about his athleticism and really he's more of the type we already have well covered midfield wise.
The SA lad Kobe Ryan with his dynamism might be more the type we may look at.
Daniel Fahey-Sparks has really caught my eye a few times, reckon he has some AFL traits especially as a KPD with his athleticism and prodigious leap....Often used in the Ruck by Sturt so also has that string to his bow although sub 200cm.AFL TOP-UP LIST

Break in case of COVID emergency: Every AFL club’s top-up players for 2022

Was at Unley oval October - before SANFL preseason, a few years back with my lad kicking the footy and Daniel was running lap after lap at a pretty good intensity. We got talking to him when he was done and came across as a ripping lad and had a kick of footy with my lad. He is extremely dedicated on the fitness side of things by all accounts and he is a big unit. As much as I don't want to see Sturt lose him, I think he has AFL qualities - endurance, contested marking ability, goalkicking and is a tough competitorDaniel Fahey-Sparks has really caught my eye a few times, reckon he has some AFL traits especially as a KPD with his athleticism and prodigious leap....Often used in the Ruck by Sturt so also has that string to his bow although sub 200cm.

How come the SANFL alignments for top up players are different to the SANFL alignments for Father-Son etc. Would hate to see South Adelaide players turning out for Port, that’s a lose-lose for me.Out of interest Bryce Gibbs and Troy Menzel in Ports top ups.

Well that will be the hard part, but I expect a lot people outside the club will expect us to be bottom six next year as wellIt would want to be a sub 10 pick and I doubt any club will take the risk.
