4 goal win in the wet, against a side with every reason to bring their best (which was still pretty shite).

Would have loved it to be a bigger win, and despite kicking 12.8 I reckon we missed 3-4 regulation goals. Could have easily been 40+ despite not playing our best.

Carried by some of the lesser lights too, in my book. Newnes, Newman, Young, Hewett, Kennedy - did a lot of the heavy lifting.

Boyd also showed why he should be in the side, we just need to find a way to get the ball into his hands more often. 6 touches not enough, but get that into the mid teens and he's gonna do some damage.

Best thing about it though - seeing that we have a coach who gets pissed off late in a game, even when we're extending the lead every quarter. Doing enough isn't enough for Vossy, he's got his eye on the big prize.

I'm not too worried about the way we played. It was slippery as anything out there.

Doc, Saad and Hewett excellent.

Out of the lesserlights, some fantastic moments for Young, Cottrell, Newnes.

Martin did a lot of good things. Owies solid. Plowman decent.

Marchy stood up and got through. Very important.

Wouldn’t call the last a fade out. Just shut the game down. Was a professional display

I saw us constantly miss targets, make poor decisions with ball in hand, make poor decisions on when to go fast/slow and not score a goal against the team in 16th position on the ladder.

Our ability to defend in these situations has been really solid all year, but I can’t help but feel a lot of these issues are mental with the group.

Newman was bloody excellent tonight, relishes those conditions.

Walsh is the cleanest player in the AFL no doubt in my mind, absolute freak.

We are a much better team with Harry in it, just Weitering to add now.

Good win, never in trouble and the conditions spoiled the last half IMO.
