I think people need to adjust their expectations on the type of players we will be acquiring on the rookie list. Expect mature bodied experienced players that will be brought in as depth.

If they get a game, it's as much a reflection on themselves that it is on the players position they've taken. It drives standards, makes competition for spots better & helps us cover for injuries.

I'm not opposed to this. Would prefer to see some new players on the list rather than just rookie Walker and Turner, we know what they're capable of / not capable of let's see what someone else has to offer.

4 free spots. Shiels and now Phillips have been suggested from the old Clarko crew. Sugar is still training down at Arden St. Any word on Walker? Has he been sighted down at the club lately? Any other names in the mix?

Highest tackles in a game: 10
Highest clearances in a game: 8

No those weren't all in the same game but are some decent peaks per category that he's reached.

yeah me too,,,,might be wrong but thought I spotted Turner in Bali last week, which if correct suggests he's not getting a rookie spot.
