I wouldn’t mind something involving Sharp, Bowes and 7

Just about every club is falling over themselves to get this pick #7. Seems too good to be true. Isn't Bowes a half back flanker owed $800,000 a year? Seems like money well spent for Freo. Ha.
Bowes has just about every club wanting to get that pick 7. No way he chooses to go to WA when he's got 50 vic clubs lining up for his services

Bowes doesn’t want Freo.
We want Sharp and maybe Corbett.
Melbourne want a pick inside 10.
Could we upgrade 13 to 7. Pay off some of Bowes salary. Grab Sharp and maybe Corbett (although he’s cheap anyway). The VIC club that wants Bowes gets 13 instead of 7 BUT we pay off whatever portion of Bowes salary.
So the club that lands Bowes get pick 13 instead.
We move up to 7.
Obviously we’d need to still flick something GC way for Sharp, so like a future 3rd. But also currency could come from the team that picked up Bowes towards GC.
Would all depend on what portion we pay Bowes.

Corbett is just speculation isn't it? As far as i am aware there was a few clubs into him.
He has had a meeting with Freo.
Potentially with other clubs too. Sharp is in
but may have already spoken to the club.Strange that they haven’t publicly said “make me a Docker”

What Wizard said about Corbett, with Sharp, i imagine it’s all behind the scenes because he’s contracted and we don’t want to be paying contracted player trade price for a dude struggling to get a game…
Just think about his career, was on the news, heading towards a comfortable retirement.
Now he’s literally throwing out tweets, for a few bucks from the WCE.
He should be planning his free time, but he’s probably been dumb with his money and now is desperate. He’ll do anything for cash now.
I’m 100% confident he knows it’s bullshit, he doesn’t believe it, hence why he’s blocking everyone that’s negative. He’s probably down on himself ending up where he is now.
Don’t be angry at him, be sad. He was in a great job, which he lost prematurely, in most professions your best monetary years are late in your career. He’s essentially shaking a can on a corner now. Except the can is inflammatory tweets.
I’d throw him a dollar if he came to Freo and busked.

Bowes and Pick 7 is not coming to Freo. No point even entertaining this.
North have put themselves in the mix for Bowes/Pick 7 which is a good thing. St Kilda missed out DeGoey and have indicated that they expect BHill and Clarke to stay (instead of being traded to North) - also a good thing.
Means that Logue and Tucker are their main trade targets.
Pick 7 with North would give them more picks to work with in generating a trade that is better for us.
I’d be reasonably comfortable with
