Which is unlikely. Nothing about our set up looks close to a flag. We are admitting defeat and rebuilding again. Terrible coach, misguided board. Poor recruiting and development staff etc. The only way we win a flag is if we get a new elite set up built from the ground up with a legitimate plan. We jump from one thing to the next as the wind takes us. That will go as far as we have now and we'll be back here again in 5 years telling ourselves that Lethlean is a shark and that Gags elite trading as sold Max King for a 32 year old who played a good game 10 years ago and we are the smartest club ever.
We certainly have let ourself down in the development and mid managed players.
Sadly we have a bunch of players that are playing out of position be use we don’t have a game plan that plays to our strengths.

Unfortunately we have a shocking tendency of not sticking to a set position for a lot of our players. I think that stunts their development big time.

I can’t see it working without losing Dusty, but then again all the big clubs find ways to rort the cap
There is a possibility they back end deals with a new rights package but yeah dusty must be off to be able to fit both in. Richmond must have a great pitch, they are really good at getting players to nominate them. Need a new midfield coach, not a problem how about Taranto and hopper 🤣🤣

Surely you're kidding there.
No not 1 bit, I didn’t like the trade and I don’t rate Higgins at all. He was dropped correct, he’s also slow and a lousy kick, not great traits for a guy of 177cm. If Gresham plays forward and butler is first picked after him where does that leave Higgins, yep sandy.

Richmond will have to let a couple go to land Taranto AND Hopper

Apparently Soldo is on the table.

Not sure who else they would let go but they won't have near enough capital to get both of those guys through the door at the moment.

Ben Miller would be a handy back up defender. 198cm, 23 years old and has been quite good in the VFL. He'd cost very little.

A lot of if's there.
He’s slow, he’s on afl form a lousy kick which has killed our momentum on several occasions, he was dropped. I think those are factual statements. Great teams don’t loose many they really want to keep, richmond saw us coming Imo.

Oh god no you must be kidding, Higgins is a pony next to a thoroughbred. Terrible trade I doubt he’s even best 22 moving forward.
So when he was kicking 4 and 5 goals a game at the start of the year he was still crap was he ?

At least he is the right height instead of the 193cm short people

🤣 Higgins is a better forward than Butler and Gresham put together!

Just got to get rid of his yips, not somehow create five more chances a match.

He also won multiple games for us off his own boot which is a factual statement you seemed to have left out.

Stanley we used the pick for on Hugh Goddard and gave them a pick back for Jordan Cunico. Even Cunico out performed Goddard at 15 games. Stanley could play in a premiership this year. It was a bomb. Hind got a pick we didn't use. There is trading and then there is just moving pieces around for the sake of it. Everything should be based around improvement. One in one out and often down grading isn't that. Acres outperforming Hill, Bruce for Jones who looks worse now and worth nothing etc.
Absolute horse shit.....you seem to be the absolute general of making the absolute worst of situations. It's just about laughable.

That pick for Stanley was widely regarded as a win for us. Stanley played about 5 good games for saints and was as inconsistent as you could get.

He's been a bit better at Geelong, but not much....

Some of the shite you dribble is absolutely laughable

He was roundly beaten about by the press for as they describe it cheating, getting out the back for an easy goal or two. Anyway he’s not without a few tricks one being he’s very strong overhead for a small man but it doesn’t change my opinion of his worth.

Change for the sake of justifying an inept coach is unforgivable at this point

There it is.

"we didn't make the 8... so let's move on players a b c and d"

Our biggest problem is Brett Ratten.

But we'll shake everything else up which will put us even further behind. Why?... because if we're making changes it shows we're doing something? Not if we're not focused on the right area.

Ratten will go eventually, it's just a matter off how much damage is done before we see the back of him.

Tired of the stupidity to be honest.

Not sure how we could be so far apart in opinion on this guy

I think he's one of the few AA potential players we have on our list.

He kicked 30 goals this year in just 16 full games (Was subbed out in another 2)

He looked on track to a big year before his concussions. Without the headknocks he's kicking 40 plus goals for us this year in a side that looked shocking going forward.

I wouldn't be putting him on the trade table

RCD anyone?

He can cheat all he likes if that's what some w***ers want to call it , other small forwards don't cheat LOL
If cheating gets you bags of 4 and 5 , cheat your heart out jack
