Essendon's Head of Footy just said that we might look to trade down if the player we want is not on the board (potentially Wardlaw). How would you guys feel about a deal structured around Essendon 4 & 22 for your 9 & f1?

With potentially some later picks swaps thrown in

God no, our future first could be pick 4.

If we do trade Clark and pick 9 for Pick 3 that would value Clark at Pick 25 (based on points difference between pick 3 and 9).

That's unders for a contracted former top 10, and what people are valuing an out of contract Oli Henry at currently.

Still, if trading Clark means we don't delist Bytel I'm actually more or less for it. Feel like Bytel being ditched for nothing will be a bigger mistake.

Personally I wouldn't do it if Wardlaw is already gone. He'd be the only one I'd trade up for

Throw in Parish for Dodoro being such a kent over the Carlisle deal 6 years ago.

Would take Dildo at least 3 days to negotiate it. So no chance.

F3
Upgrade to a F2 if you get to punch Dodo in the face instead of shake his hand.
Upgrade to a F1 if you can then follow up to a kick straight in the balls.

High five to all other recruiters on the way out of that meeting room, well worth it.

I can’t believe we even offered Clark and 9 for 3 and they’re knocking that back. If they don’t rate him don’t bloody trade him 😂

If we offered pick 3 for Bowes and 9 would you want the deal? They. have to sell this to members in a time where the club is battered. Lachie Hunter went for a future 3rdp. A pile of first round picks who haven't come on have been let go for loose change. This is the most fluid trade period ever and while everyone else is playing we are trying to do things in the old school way. We are like an old guy at the supermarket trying to pay for our groceries in copper coins while everyone else is at the self serve check out.

Remember that time we were saved from ourselves when we offered up something utterly idiotic for mitch brown and got rebuffed?
(What was it, 2 first rounders or a 1st and a 2nd or something?!)

Remember that time we were saved from ourselves when we offered dylan shiel circa 1.2mill x 6 and got rebuffed?

Strong vibes here.
Hope so…hope Norf save us from our stupidity!
