I honestly think one of Liam or Kelly should play in the AFL with the guidance of Moore and Howe. Probably Kelly. If they leak a goal or two so be it, but they can develop rather then Madgen for now.
McMahon did look much better today. Maybe he doesn't have to be delisted just yet!

You said he was all cream and no cake! Plenty of cake today.
At the point in time I made that comment his stat line read like T Brown at senior level with a bunch of spectacular marking attempts the only thing of note.

His second half though was as good a half of footy as I’ve seen at that level. It harked back to Henry’s performance v GC early last year, but was a step up because he did it in a half. I think legendstatus nailed it with the Darryl White comparison. He makes the sublime look easy and in that second half he managed to make even the easy look sublime.

I only saw the last quarter but Johnson definitely has star potential,he just oozes class.Put Kreuger,Mcreery and Johnson into our seniors and we have the makings of a very exciting forward line,It could end up being better than our 2018 forward line.

Just doesn't have the tools.
That’s my feel as well I was also struck by how undersized he is. By eye he’s the same size as Murley and unfortunately he has nowhere near the pace. If he can get there at senior level it’s a wing/ HB role so they at least got that right today.

2 wins against quality opponents. The VFL team are replicating the AFL’s game plan & all of a sudden the youth is developing quickly.
Our senior coach has a rich history in development & I’m loving the difference from past years.
Ash looks a quality forward in the making & Finn was prolific in the 2nd half.
Was enjoyable to watch.

Neat footballer, but as an outsider with his size and pace, he's got to either have Didaks tricks or endurance like Tom Phillips. I don't like his chances.

Sorry which player are you discussing? I haven’t followed the conversation but my guess when you discuss lack of pace & size is Bianco.

McRae second half brilliant, the sides ball movement when he's involved much better!

Not much you can say about Ash, can do anything...CFC forward power looks deep, as a poster mentioned looking forward to three talls Kreuger/Ash and Mihochek having a crack.

I liked Murleys' game to day, solid!

It's amazing how quick forward stocks or whatever stocks can change isn't it!?!

This is how he played in the practice game I went to a few weeks ago when i suggested he was above the level. Was a bit sheepish after last week that i'd gone a bit early, was hoping none of the Begg fans that I was hard on would find my post, but good see him back in the second half today. Would love to see him in the senoirs with our more "fun" gameplan. Will make some blunders trying to do too much but it should be encouraged.
