Good sign for both of them, in that caseThose that play district cricket pretty much(Edwards/Prahran), same as Harry DeMattia and before them Matt Crouch was another.
I would think it will be an advantage...if he is already as good as he is without one, getting that full time fitness under the best of the lot in burgess can only enhance his gameThose that play district cricket pretty much(Edwards/Prahran), same as Harry DeMattia and before them Matt Crouch was another.
That might be younger brother?Nick Murray is such a beast
No definitely Nick in the 2nd photoThat might be younger brother?
Noticing the three lads we drafted are already commenting on each other’s instas - Rash/Soli/Nank vibes
Well I can see two of them at least, Charlie’s still on private lol
Get the feeling if he can hit close to his potential, he will nail a running half back spot down and be quite dynamicWarming to this Ryan kid we have picked.... Looks tough as nails, committed and some nice skills.
Feels like the player that will relish playing finals games.

Not sure about dowling..he looked very impressive in the back half of last year and looks a real player. Taylor had that injury that wrecked him but i still have faith he can have a real crack at it when fitYep. If he can rise quickly, maybe even get a taste this year, it really spells the end for Parnell and Hamill.
When a new crop of draftees come in, it's so easy to forget about other players, like Z.Taylor and Dowling. They should also be pushing for selection. Edwards looks a chance to jump them immediately though.
I've still got hope for both of them. Players that will soon (or now!) need to come out of our side who were regulars, are Sloane, smith, Murphy, sholl (played 16 games last year). Zero first 18 picks. Has to be a wake up call for SA.Break up of the 2023 draft 1st round by State.
1st round
Vic - 12 - Picks 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 25, 27.
Qld - 4 - Picks 3, 9, 14, 26.
WA - 4 - Picks 8, 13, 23, 28.
NSW - 3 - Picks, 11, 12, 24.
Tas - 3 - Picks 2, 6, 17.
SA - 3 - Picks 19, 20, 29.
Next year looking a lot different yeah? The big worry is 8 of those picks are from Qld, NSW and Tassie.
Best victory against Essendon at Marvel stadium in yearsI think they wanted us to take those guys as they knew Geelong were keen on Curtin first, then Caddy
Given Curtin got taken by us, they were pissed, as they wanted Caddy but knew the Cats would take him. Hence the effort to trade up
Hopefully not a trend. The big worry is 8 of those picks are from Qld, NSW and Tassie.
I don't particularly hate the SANFL.Just rubbish, the SANFL develop players, the SANFL and WAFL don’t receive the funding like the other states. That will hopefully change when they move to West Lakes and build high performance facility.
But given the SANFL is a league on its own, shouldn’t the clubs be striving to win flags? Why not?
Some of the SANFL hate is beyond stupid.
