So...

OUT: Cincotta
IN: E.Curnow

Umm

Makes sense. Pies are a mobile, quick, corridor attacking side.

We definitely need another one paced endurance beast with poor skills.

But wait ... what if he's in for Kennedy or Hewett?

He comes in to free up Walsh to do something, and our F50 delivery improves on the aggregate... but surely we had better options.

If the club thinks that Ed is the answer to locking down Daicos then they are all on crack, unless it’s a total smokescreen and he isn’t actually going to play I’m not sure why you would go through that process of naming him anyway…

He’s in our best 26 currently. That’s the message I’m getting from this lineup

Might have a player or 2 coming out of the selected side, and both Boyd and Cincotta play, allowing Doc to play as a full-time mid, otherwise

Cincotta, Cottrell, Owies, Kennedy

Sub Boyd, Fisher or Hewett
I think that's what it'll end up being, and it's a net positive with Hewett out of the side and another runner in.

It’s got to be Hewett that’s coming out of the team.

Making him a sub is a pointless exercise.

My bet he’s the “carryover” player so doesn’t need to play against the Seagulls.

Having said all that - we have got to move past Ed.

Happy for Fish or Boyd to be sub. As long as it’s someone with toe.

Ed in, we are going turn this into the slowest, toughest grind imaginable. Don’t think Voss is planning for us to kick more than 10 goals & holding them down to less. Going to a massive slog, where we beat them by dragging them down to our level. We could just do it, we may also lose by 10+ goals when their system ignores it’s wet & smashes us with skill and movement. Don’t think it’s going to be great viewing for us either way

The only sub that's really had an impact is Kennedy. Tried Ed to no effect last week but expecting we'll continue with a similar type and go Hewett. So no one really dropped.

If Kennedy gets left out for Curnow again I am going to get Malthouse flash backs.

Mclean, Carazzo, Curnow, Cachia....
