Most of their goals are kicked by small forwards. Will be interesting to see how our 1:1 defensive approach stacks up against a smaller structure.
Yeah I'm interested here too. Newman, Saad, Kemp, and Gov all have speed and have looked good (at times at least) on smaller opponents one on one.

Big change this year has been how quickly we spread our defensive zone back in place after turnover. Plus we now threaten on the rebound, likely due to the speed mentioned above. Almost Melbourne-esque in that respect. Hoping that this combo will help to keep them honest and frustrate their own fast rebound style.

Have always hated Sts small forwards. Hopefully Butler goes goalless

Just watched the majority of the game

Scrapy performances, so fairly broad in who will come into the 23

Cowan, Fisher, Ed or Binns

What I did find very very interesting was S Durdin starting in the forward line

Wondering if this is with an eye to future games like the Saints or possibly Demons until Harry returns
I wasn't paying a great deal of attention to this game, but did think Big Durds was named, but seemed to be not playing where all the action was(Collingwood's forward line)
Can he back-up ruck I wonder?

Yeah and when I shot that down by pointing out that we've faced tougher competition, you changed your argument by referencing our earlier clash this year as some form of proof...

You've faced North, Hawthorn and Gold Coast twice... 3 of the bottom 6 teams in terms of points for...
You defending Carlton. This place just keeps providing the unprecedented.

Could handle a chopout stint, but suspect we still run with TDK and Pitto, while S Durdin plays as the swingman

I don't like them
I don’t either, and I don’t get it. They are an irrelevant, minnow club that hasn’t done squat in 125 years. I think it’s because they treat every game against a big club like a grand final, and talk a ridiculous amount of smack whether they lose or win.

They are pests. But it’s not like a Collingwood, Richmond or Essendon where I at least have respect for the club and what they’ve achieved.

They just dont bend the knee enough to their betters- it is a bad characteer trait.

Our history is fantastic but we’ve done ****all in 20 odd years, just saying.
