8 day break, has come at a good time. Aints look ordinary to me, we should be able to get the chocolates. Dow looks ready to impact over four quarters, maybe Carroll for sub. Club will not be rushing anybody back now, we are in a pretty good position to make finals, regardless of other results.
All going well, we should have Cez, Walsh, Kennedy, Harry, Boyd and JSOS back before finals and please God, no more injuries.
Feeling hopeful we can do a dogs 2016, or at least make the prelims. This would certainly prime us for a huge year, next year.

Their first quarter was awesome and they finished strong, but when all is said and done they beat the Hawks who are cellar dwellars. A return for Membrey appears likely and if King and Hill get up they will be greatly improved assuming they are fully fit. However they seem to have lost Jones and perhaps Sharman, so its not all one way traffic from the medical room. Caminiti is on report but I don't think it warrants a week - looked worse on first blush - but who knows with the lottery that is the AFL suspensions system. All in all I think we should have their measure absent any unforseen player unavailability.

Selection could be interesting. There is a part of me that thinks this would not be a bad week to blood Binns to give us some extra run and out of left field I could see O'Keeffe as a chance to replace Pitto, swinging TDK into the ruck and letting O'Keeffe do the forward/ruck role. He shows more forward than either of Pitto or TDK and whilst he is no hare he is more mobile than Pitto even without injury concerns. I don't think O'Keeffe is anywhere near fully developed and if JSOS was available I'd be looking at him doing the relief ruck but he isn't so there it is. Lemmey is way further back than O'Keeffe and I don't see any other options if we have stamped Young's papers as a forward, which I think we should have.

I Honestly think we can do Bulldogs ala 2016. I think we are that good now. We have hit form at the right time, with some A grade players to come back in.
I love you Blues

St.Kilda have conceded less points than Carlton this year. That’s actually us in the top 2 back lines, but please, go on 👍
Yes. Stkilda have a well organised backline that is very hard to score against.
I have no doubt their starting strategy will be for battle to play a lock down role on Charlie with Wilkie to float across and play third man up. It works really well for them.
Webster is underrated. Sinclair is AA and usually carves us up. Cordy will probably take TDK. Windhager and stocker are hard at it and Wanganeen-Milera has been averaging 30 possessions the last few games as a creative half back.
We will have to play a fast, attacking game to provide separation and isolate them one out.
Mids are pretty even in my books. Marshall and our rucks should be a nil-all draw. Crouch, Ross, Clark and Steele v Cripps, Hewett, Doc and Dow are also pretty even.
Adding King, Membrey and hill to their team makes them immeasurably stronger. Hoping our backline continue their red-hot form with king and membrey (who loves playing against us) being a little underdone.
Stkilda are our bogey team. They love playing against us at Marvel. Vossy will need to get the best out of the players to get over the top of them.

The only thing that could possibly derail us this week is our injuries. But our defence has been sensational and our forward pressure has been magnificent they should provide cover for our depleted midfield.

Ultimately, even after Cerra went down we still broke even with Collingwood and they are far better than St Kilda so that provides some confidence.

If Walsh and Cerra were playing I'd have us as favourites against literally any team right now.

Feeling more nervous about this game than Collingwood. We have not handled expectations well this season and St Kilda are always a bogey team. Lyon will be working hard to stop our run and will be interesting how we respond to a gameplan set up to slow us down.
He could barely stop Hawthorn or North Melbournes run - why would he be able to stop us where others couldn’t ??

Caminitti has been suspended, but King could return? I thought he was out for the year.

That's pretty significant out I think.

Even if they race King and Membrey in, thry likely won't be their usual selves and be slightly underdone.

The Saints board seem to think Membrey is too underdone to play but might out of desperation.

Weitering is in top form...confident he will blanket an underdone King anyway.
