Im the opposite on Clark, has to play on the inside because his speed and spread are poor but his work inside is elite. His clean hands are his best trait and he will still be able to get into the play outside of the centre. His kicking inside 50 is brilliant though.
Clark is good with ball in hand, and works well in close generally, but I think his defensive work is not great and his opponents seem to be able to spread off easily him due to his lack of leg speed. Pretty much like Crouch and Steele -strong and good inside, but lack serious leg speed for midfielders. One of these days we will get a good in and out mid..maybe Windy will step up?

Skunk isn't going to get traded.

Roma isn't going to get traded.

Let's deal with possibilities rather than decide to arbitrarily ship out blokes because they've had a few average games.

As Punter said, in 2012/2013 we made rubbish decisions so we could get draft picks in to start a rebuild.

We're not in that same situation now.
Marshall no, but I wouldn’t rule out Membrey, especially is Caminiti continues to improve.

We are still on track for top 4, getting experimental is probably not the right path unless we really start to s**t the bed. To me it's getting back to discipline and structures that need addressing, not getting kinky.

Same story every year.

We need to build a premiership side.

We haven't been playing well. I'm not saying move stuff around for the sake of it. Let's look at what our best side to build for a premiership looks like.

Most years we are just straight up shit. Hopefully we are bringing through kids at the same time with out the drop off from being too experimental.

really keen to see players like Windy and Bytel get full games

Can't see bytel getting a game without steele or crouch injuries.

He's a 100% understudy for those guys- if they are fit, bytel doesn't play.
(And likely delisted at the end of the year)

Not necessarily a reflection on bytel himself- just that he can only realistically play one position.

Highmore is in the same kind of situation as bytel- he's going to need to change clubs if he wants a shot at regular senior footy.

I’m not shipping out blokes who have had a bad game
I’m looking at trades on blokes who might have currency who are a little older
It’s just an opinion
Is everyone ok?
Lol

I think it’s more his style than a lack of speed, he certainly has good hands in tight but that kick into the forward 50 is so important. I’ve decided in similar fashion that apart from short stints on the ball Sinclair serves us best of half back. His ability to make quick decisions and the quick release allows us to slingshot forward and break the opposition open. He’s a very good kick but it’s the speed of release that makes him so damaging.

I cant believe people are suggesting we trade out main stays from the team after a bad loss or a few weeks of poor form. Our injuries were always going to bite at some stage and that has proven to be the case.

Think back a month ago things were looking pretty rosy, lets stay the course and not become over reactive to a few results.

Same players get put up on this every year on this forum.

Sinclair genuinely bursts through with a clearance and delivers so nicely. If we could push someone else behind the ball he's just too good to have out of the centre. I don't mind what we are doing and having him rotate between the two. Clark must still have fitness issues because he's getting much less time on ball than he deserves on impact.

Ive been talking about trading for weeks
Want a good pick you have to trade out something half decent at least

But dont panic
It wont happen

Nick Hind might be available.
