Keeler is a classic boom or bust player…if he applies himself could be a special talent!
Genuine question because I know next to nothing about him, but why would this be particular to him?
Couldn't any player be a boom or bust proposition?

Because he can do the outstanding, but then goes missing, whilst application was always said to be a bit of an issue for him in his career so far. I believe there was some rumours from those close to him that this is not the case, but it may be the lackadaisical nature that a lot of the Indigenous appear to have. I guess the label of boom or bust really applies to that notion of potential. Some guys have heaps, but there are others that you know are just going to be GOP in their own right.

Adelaide turned him down after developing him inter NGA believing that his commitment to footy wasn't s strong as some. His skill set is exceptional and you can easily look at players like Adam Goodes or Paddy Ryder and dream.

Adelaide and recognising mental instances is arguably the worst club to make those calls. They might be able to power stance and straight abuse a solution like previously.

The other version was that their NGA was rubbish and he moved schools to get away from it.

Gringwoke's got his woke boomer internet security settings turned on - blocks anything even remotely interesting. All that is allowed are random cute and funny cat videos ffs

Peter Bell delisted. one of the best charities going around now shut down.

he will ultimately be remembered for making other clubs better. what a guy.

Just shifting roles within Freo, going the Dodo route of many pies, tiny hands.

Some kids do not have there s/it together until they get into there 20s , clubs giving comments about application on a 18 yr old is a joke.
Some of this kids have never even been close to a professional organization , let alone in a professional training regime.
These are the kids that fall through the cracks and never get given the chance to show there true worth and they most probably are more talented than anyone in the top 10.

Dodo. Love the news that Essendon - at best - muddied the waters on what the Parish deal was. The fragile ego of that guy is a treasure, not unlike the supporters of that club.

Richo was also one of the very few coaching options out there due to Watters getting the flick very late in that year.
The board wanted Watters out at the end of the season but the AFL wouldn't green light us to pay him out (as we were on the drip feed from HQ by then).

By the time we'd persuaded them that he needed to go or we'd have a mass walk out of staff, pretty much everyone else has been locked away (incl Cho, who we had to pay Port some compo $$ for).

If we really are looking for another ruckman Sam Hayes 24yo a Ferntree Gully lad has been delisted by Port. Surely he would be a better longer term option than Lycett?
Not every list decision needs to be long term.

Lycett also can play a little as a forward ruck.
