Genuine question because I know next to nothing about him, but why would this be particular to him?Keeler is a classic boom or bust player…if he applies himself could be a special talent!
Because he can do the outstanding, but then goes missing, whilst application was always said to be a bit of an issue for him in his career so far. I believe there was some rumours from those close to him that this is not the case, but it may be the lackadaisical nature that a lot of the Indigenous appear to have. I guess the label of boom or bust really applies to that notion of potential. Some guys have heaps, but there are others that you know are just going to be GOP in their own right.Genuine question because I know next to nothing about him, but why would this be particular to him?
Couldn't any player be a boom or bust proposition?

Adelaide turned him down after developing him inter NGA believing that his commitment to footy wasn't s strong as some. His skill set is exceptional and you can easily look at players like Adam Goodes or Paddy Ryder and dream.
The other version was that their NGA was rubbish and he moved schools to get away from it.Adelaide turned him down after developing him inter NGA believing that his commitment to footy wasn't s strong as some. Lycett retired but other clubs thought he was going to come to us.What was it? It's been taken down.
I had heard a whisper.Huge if true
Well you're insane so that doesn't countI had heard a whisper.
I hear dead people.Well you're insane so that doesn't count
Some kids do not have there s/it together until they get into there 20s , clubs giving comments about application on a 18 yr old is a joke.Because he can do the outstanding, but then goes missing, whilst application was always said to be a bit of an issue for him in his career so far. Dodo. Love the news that Essendon - at best - muddied the waters on what the Parish deal was. The fragile ego of that guy is a treasure, not unlike the supporters of that club.Just shifting roles within Freo, going the Dodo route of many pies, tiny hands.
The board wanted Watters out at the end of the season but the AFL wouldn't green light us to pay him out (as we were on the drip feed from HQ by then).Richo was also one of the very few coaching options out there due to Watters getting the flick very late in that year.
Not every list decision needs to be long term.If we really are looking for another ruckman Sam Hayes 24yo a Ferntree Gully lad has been delisted by Port. Surely he would be a better longer term option than Lycett?
