That's just not factually true though, science does not back it up. Whether Strachan is motivated enough to get fitter is another story, but unless he has some sort of medical limitation, there is no reason he can't be improving his cardio base.
It does become more difficult but it's certainly not impossible. It was a bit disappointing as I thought his first half against Richmond in particular wasn't too bad.

No doubt
I cant see berry in our top 30.
He's just in the top 30 imo.

1 Rankine
2 Dawson
3 Thilthorpe
4 Soligo
5 Fogarty
6 Worrell
7 Keays
8 N Murray
9 Crouch
10 Michaelanny
11 Hinge
12 Cumming
13 Walker
14 Rachele
15 Neal-Bullen
16 Sholl
17 O'Brien
18 Curtin
19 Peatling
20 Pedlar
21 Laird
22 Keane
23 Taylor
24 Nankervis
25 Jones
26 Butts
27 Bond
28 Milera
29 Berry

But may not be by the end of the year as we have a few players who are likely to go past him.

Pick 4 - gun midfielder
Edwards
Ryan

Would we have traded Berry if we knew we had the 3 players traded in.

I'm glad you put the "ïmo" in.

He has to at least be ahead of Pedlar, Jones and Milera at this point and probably Bond also..

Yes this is my opinion for next season.

3 of these players have real weapons.

Bond offers us a lockdown option if we want to free up Michaelanny.

Berry is Crouch backup.

This board is largely about opinions, including yours. ;)

Ps. Feel free to give your top 30.

He's happy getting paid to do **** all. Like so many other depth 200cm players around the league.

Was a poor decision to recontract him in 2023. We knew he wasn't up to it by then.

After about 15 it’s up for grabs I think, and it probably should be, even in good teams. Form, injuries, development, depth in particular positions, all play a bigger part than with the top 15 or so.

FWIW I’d have Peatling higher, and Obrien too (simply because of a lack of ruck depth)

I think North Melbourne should have gone Berry over Parker. Parker will probably play one season then need replacing.

Berry could give them 2 or 3 years whilst their youth catches up.
Maybe

I see Parkers value is someone experienced from winning culture, Berry doesn't have that background. Parker will play less in the second year but his experience will be invaluable to a team that is 6 years into a rebuild and still on the bottom. The time really is now for the Kangas to start making strides

I genuinely feel there weren't any takers for Berry.
Pies & Roos both showed interest.

Peatling wasn't on our radar at the time... because if he was, along with landing ANB & Cumming, I reckon we would have allowed him to explore other options.

As it is he will be handy depth.

We now have around 30 decent players, which should make a huge difference compared to this season gone, where we traded out depth & lost Sloane early.
