Tom Morris reporting that Lukosius has been given 'the green light' to seek a trade and 'do what's best for his career', but that they're 'also happy to keep him'.

Incredible the deliberate messaging from AFL journo's, clearly on the AFL $$ teet. Literally every AFL journo has been told to keep with the 'this isn't a Bowes situation' line, it's hilarious.

They want Pick 4 from the Crows for Lukosius, but as reported by Twomey are willing to give up Pick 6 for Rioli, who turns 29 next year........

You'd imagine Richmond aren't super keen for Rioli to leave, but the right trade will do it, but come on GC are going to need cap room for Rioli, and the 4,360 Academy kids and other superstars on their list.

It's a salary dump for a player who's not in their future plans anymore, if out list managers get duped I don't know what hope there is for us.

Wonder if North, Richmond or WC are interested in Luko? Melbourne?

Right now I would legit throw the toys out of the cot if we spent pick 4 on Luko, regardless of what was coming back

While other clubs have announced delistings following the culmination of their seasons, the Crows are yet to reveal who won’t be at West Lakes in 2025.

This is because the future of several out-of-contract Crows will be dependent on how busy Adelaide is during free agency and trade period.

The Crows are confident of striking a deal for Melbourne’s Alex Neal-Bullen after he requested a trade home to South Australia for family reasons, and are in the mix for Gold Coast’s Jack Lukosius and GWS’ Isaac Cumming.
They were in the mix for Giants utility Harry Perryman but that is understood to now be on the backburner.

Just another example of the complete lack of planning and professionalism this club specialises in.

While other clubs are ruthless in their delistings, we are a deer in headlights.

Gut feel is Berry leaves, surely with getting AFL gametime + having a contract in front of him he would’ve re-signed already, if he was going to

Agree that Cumming/Hamill could be linked - sounds like Cumming could be on the way, so Hamill’s future with us might be iffy (though I wouldn’t mind keeping him for a 1year deal as speedy depth)

Players livelihoods are at play. They should come out of Exit Interviews with a clear idea of their future.

I'd retire him and bring him in as our forwards coach and get rid of Burns. I imagine he'd be a great coach, his body is letting him down but he could still contribute to the team. Massive upgrade on Burns too.

But we all know he'll do a Rory Sloane and play a handful of games next year and be injured/managed for most.
