Whats the point of worrying about something that may or may not happen ? If he is the director see how he goes why jump at shadows all this angst and if we get wright or monty or both this bs has all been for nothing unlike you i dont worry about things until it actually happens not hypotheticals
Because this is entirely your thought process about the club

Whats the point of worrying and then you say doesnt matter anyway because we have chicken soup coming

The club could shit down your neck and you would immediately say '' lets see how this tastes ''

Maybe folk here weren't happy

I can still remember the crowd roar at AO when he kicked a goal early a few days after he'd re-signed
I was happy he stayed, thought the deal was shit for us though.

Rory was my favourite player over Dangerfield, but we paid him too much.

Any tiny little crumbs around Peatling yet?

This seems the kind of appointment that it's hard to be genuinely negative about, so it's good to see people having a red hot go.

Given the number of appointments that have worked out over the last few years, it's amazing that anyone couldn't be a little sceptical on any appointment that we make. Especially what appears to be yet another person in a very long line that has been elevated to the highest role that they've ever had in the industry. The list of failed appointments that you supported for no other reason than we appointed them is nearly as long as the total list of appointments. How about for just one second, just one, you consider that we haven't really been that good at selecting candidates over the last decade or so.

I understand your thinking .....my POV is no-one was saying Sloane was overpaid at the start of his Contract, just the end

What is conveniently overlooked, was the paranoia surrounding his resigning ...."we can't lose Sloane"

Unfortunately the game has changed, which blunted Sloane's effectiveness late in his career .....less stoppages, less congestion, quicker midfields

We should have moved him out of the midfield ......

So what you're saying is ....."The past dictates the future" .....that assumes no-one ever improves, and we're in a loop

Nicks' job was done after two years. He took the club at its second lowest nadir in morale and turned that around. Job done. Needed to be jettisoned for a gun coach...but who?
These gun coaches you talk of ?

Gettable gun coaches?

literally anybody else, another rookie coach with a bit of IQ will do. every game this imbecile keeps first picking murphy will be the death of this club.

Picking someone who is not a Neil Craig disciple is a good sign at least.
