No, PSD is correct.

Given the picks we have left, there is no chance that Peatling would still be available by the time we wanted to select him if he nominated for the ND. There's not a snowball's chance in He'll that he doesn't get picked up before pick 64.

The option being discussed is getting Peatling to delist himself from GWS, and nominate for the PSD (bypassing the ND). Adelaide have pick 4 in the PSD, and would only need to worry about being gazumped by Norf, Richmond, and West Coast. Even so, that's still a significant risk.

The latter 2, probably all 3 really, are about having senior bodies in the SANFL side to help the youngsters out.

That likely changes from next year on with the changes to the SANFL rules
