**** yeah! Finally a bit of spice to the trade period, Hawks completely ****ing over the Eagles in their pursuit of Baker. Decent chance that Freo offer up 3 first round picks for Baker and Bolton now, while the Eagles keep Barrass. Would put the Eagles firmly in pole position to get Warner next year though as Freo just won't have the picks.
I think it will be a three way trade - something like:

Barass to Hawthorn
Hawthorn's F1 and Baker to WCE
Carlton's F1 to Richmond

They can offer what they like, but Port won't be getting Pick 2.

If North were serious they would try and split Pick 2 into 2 first round picks with Freo or GWS and keep one pick and trade the other to Port.

No way would North ever contemplate give Pick 2 for Houston, it would be sheer lunacy.
Might be the only way Houston would agree to join them so Port Power would agree to trade him but yes it would crazy by North.

How's this look for a 3 way trade.

GWS
In: Crows F2
Out: Peatling

Saints
In: Berry, Crows F1, Pick 62
Out: Wanganeen-Milera, F2

Crows
In: Wanganeen-Milera, Peatling, Saints F2
Out: F1, Berry, F2, Pick 62
I don't think GWS do that, given that they're demanding more than our F2 right now.

They can demand all they like, doubt they get it.
I'm not sure if St Kilda have any interest in Berry either.

To me, it looks like you're attempting to offload an unwanted Crows player (Berry), and get GWS to hand over a player for less than they're currently demanding.

It's great for the Crows... I just don't see either of the other clubs going for it.

Saints getting Macrae would probably kill any interest/need in Berry.

What did you do? That’s what I wanna know.
We used to get rewarded for using certain areas of learning in our work each week, and this week was using similes (as big as a house, as hot as hell). Every simile we used in our creative writing earned 1 minute extra outdoor time on Friday. One kid put a huge amount in his story and I called him a square of all things. I was just jealous of his playground time haha. Teacher called me out on it infront of everyone and I lost all my extra minutes.

A ridiculous exercise and an idiotic teacher.

Baker is out of contract. He'll get to West Coast.

Love this from Hawthorn - sends a clear message that they will do things on their terms.

Imagine the look on the West Coast List Manager’s face…..

And senior players giving it to him whose own form and effort should be questioned?

I doubt the club would be trying to teach Laird much these days. He has been a brilliant player for a long time even though last year wasn't a good year for him. Perhaps him giving Rash a dressing down was part of it all, perhaps Laird got a speaking to after saying that. Perhaps Laird got no extra playground minutes on friday that week...

Most likely we will never know the intricacies about it all as it probably happened behind closed doors, and all we can do is connect snippets of info we are privvy to into whatever "truth" we can.

So 2 rules then for senior players and youngsters and given Laird wasn’t the only one piling on, I can see such actions having a positive impact on the culture of the place

Not exactly a good trade for Saints. I guess it could work out well for them if we end up at the bottom of the ladder again but it's a pretty big risk for them to take.

A ridiculous exercise and an idiotic teacher.

Yeah, stupid teachers trying to teach English to kids!
