They can go to the park with the lads , no issueHe went to the combine didnt he?
Just clicked, but are those nominated for the draft allowed to train with clubs? He may not even be able to.
You do understand that the early training Tex has set up isn't actually club sanctioned training, it's lads getting in some early fitness for the pre-season. It will be interesting when Tyler is officially a Crow how he goes in the run on the 1st day, hopefully he'll have been told about Zac Taylor's preparation a couple of year's ago./Thats my impression. May explain why he dropped off his fitness so much. But the club surely would have sent him a personalised training program to prepare him for pre season anyway. But yeah, I genuinely am under the impression there are rules, thats why you dont see draftees out at pre season and touring clubs before the draft. Which is fair. The only draftees allowed to go and train are the pre season draftees who the club has to get permission.

He quit school last year.I have no idea. You are arguing about a technicality. But regardless if he isnt training, either he turned it down or he cant make it because of year 12.
No , he can train with lads . Absolutely no issue
Some draftees train with established players , it’s happened many times over
Yeah he will prob miss first week in November like all the drafteesIm talking specific club training. Obviously the AFL cant prevent players getting together to train away from the club.
He quit school last year.
You're the one going on about it even when people have explained it to you.Uni?, job? sex worker? under ground electrician? who gives a shit man. its pointless semantics.

This is getting me worried, I'd hate Tyler to end up being as big a bust as JonesIt was quite well known in SANFL circles last year, or widely speculated anyway.
Tyler quit school and didn't have any plans for a trade, club got wind of it and got him into the club.
Grain of saltThis is getting me worried, I'd hate Tyler to end up being as big a bust as Jones
Well he wouldn't be as big but you get my drift
Yeah, it's hard to make a case that rucks are particularly important, considering how irrelevant they've been for premiership success.I don't particularly rate the importance of rucks, I'm more concerned about what's underneath
Maybe he wanted to keep his shirt on and was told that’s a no noI'd hoped to see him out with Tex's squad but didn't spot him?
Adelaide Board Trade Period 2024
Not much to be gained by saying "we love him, he's going to be a jet, i hope nobody bids on him in the top ten" at this point. We've had 12 months where we're the only club to have had a proper look at his development. Information asymmetry is our best friend here. Actually thought Reid's answer was very slick there. Gave absolutely nothing away.
Don’t rookies get a shorter contract? If Welsh is rookied and doesn’t work on achieving elite fitness standards it might allow us to cut and run. It's much of a muchness, really. There is no real practical difference between the two lists. Either Welsh goes on the main list and we move a senior player onto the rookie list, or else Welsh just goes straight onto the rookie list.
Not a poor attitude because he was brilliant with the Crows Academy kids for a good 2 months. Worked hard with them and these 14 yr old lads really spoke highly of him.
We erred by taking him out of the u18s program this year. There's a feeling he would've dominated, but we hid him away, was rushed into the SANFL, lost confidence and then his body struggled.
Club internally believes he'll get to the rookie draft. I'd be very surprised if we didn't select him in that after all we've put into him this year.
Shut up Josh
THe only query from me was the Dees pick swap. 45 ish this year is worth much more than a similar pick next year. Perhaps we had a grand plan to use F3 for Peatling and unfortunately it didn’t work out. As someone else said we maybe wanted to offer kangas F2 to move from 4->2 this year but anyway great last few weeks for the club with only this relatively small query from my perspectiveSo Trade/FA in summary:
OUT: pick 28, pick 46, F2, Himmelberg
IN: ANB, Cumming, Peatling, 2 x F3s, F4
We’ve done ok.
