Most of my posts are not political!
I was one who did challenge Sanders & he put me on ignore as he couldn't handle being challenged!
Yes this is a place to provide opinions, but it should also be safe from ongoing personal abuse... which was my main point you appear to be overlooking.
But even that was still better for your intelligence than having to actually read the postsI tried the ignore button over on the politics threads and all it showed me was blank pages.
So that was no good.
For those who have Pete on ignore here is a list of who he has on ignoreHere’s who I have on ignore:
Samcro
Fr0ggy
1970Crow
George Kramer
Very brave of you, let's see if they come at you like they have when I've suggested similar. As much as it grieves me I dont think we can fault the McAsey pick in isolation
The club had decided Talia was done or near done and wanted his replacement
Talia played 14 games in 2020 and was done - right or wrong
McAsey played 10 games in 2020 - ironically the last senior games he played for us
Should more due diligence have been done - sure - but I think the pick when taken in context was good thinking. Could we have waited for someone else? Yeah in hindsight sure , but his formline was sound
About six of my mates run around in that team for a bit of fun and fitness and they get named in the best also. It's not a high bar to clear.Very brave of you, let's see if they come at you like they have when I've suggested similar.
Interesting that he was St.Kilda City's best on in 3 of his 4 games late in their season with no preparation even if it was only ammo's. Will be intersting to see where this leads.

I'd be lying if I hadn't heard the same, Langford and Smillie are the two I'm hearing however I'm unsure if that's in the case that Draper is off the board already.Heard a rumour that we may go outside the big four, for our pick. Big time outside the box thinking
Surely thats in a trade down..why on earth would we do that at 4 when 6 they are both likely there or at least one of them and we get an extra 1st or F1 in the processI'd be lying if I hadn't heard the same, Langford and Smillie are the two I'm hearing however I'm unsure if that's in the case that Draper is off the board already.

That's because he was too fast to be captured. Injury notwithstanding, I don't think he's far behind his selection position. His issue is primarily he went to PAC, had he schooled at a decent institution, he'd have been much better.
Langford is in discussions for pick 1 and Smillie has always been around the top 10 (previously in pick 1 calculations), neither are a stretch at pick 4I'd be lying if I hadn't heard the same, Langford and Smillie are the two I'm hearing however I'm unsure if that's in the case that Draper is off the board already.
Langford very unlikely to be there at 6, not sure why some people keep being less excited when he gets linked to the Crows. He's an absolute jet and if Richmond get him at 6 they've absolutely cleaned up (but I doubt Melbourne overlook him at pick 5 if he's still on the board).Surely thats in a trade down..why on earth would we do that at 4 when 6 they are both likely there or at least one of them and we get an extra 1st or F1 in the process
The one thing Langford is not is a jet!!Langford very unlikely to be there at 6, not sure why some people keep being less excited when he gets linked to the Crows. I didn't mean that in the literal sense (clearly), just meant he's a gun footballerThe one thing Langford is not is a jet!!
Could we be extending FOG and Rankine to create cap space to delist a contracted player?

His lack of pace will be an interesting watch in an AFL midfield where his size won't be such a big advantage.Fair, but he's certainly high quality.
If anything, I can see him succeeding as a wingHis lack of pace will be an interesting watch in an AFL midfield where his size won't be such a big advantage.
Fair enough but I'm not too sure that's where clubs will see him if using a high end pick.If anything, I can see him succeeding as a wing
More time and space to work with, runs all day, can be a very good aerial presence, long kick - seems like the ideal position at the next level
I’m not speaking on behalf of clubs, I’m speaking where I see him. I don’t have him really in the top 10 mixFair enough but I'm not too sure that's where clubs will see him if using a high end pick.
