Yep, was rumoured a few months ago we'd offered him a 2 year deal (and Himmelberg too), but he was waiting to the end of the year because he was a FA and would evaluate offers.

Guessing it means he didn't get any guarantees he'd be starting elsewhere.

This is where I think having a player manager as list manager doesn’t work

Reid would see it as a success having a bunch of average players on less than average deals. That’s a win in his book.
