Does anyone know where there is a list of players yet to receive contracts from their clubs?
I know of Tomlinson, Marchbank, Granger-Barras, Eyre and Clurey as potential DFA defenders, any other ideas?

Always staggered me just how many “journos” there are to cover one National game.Damien Barrett is on our screens and in our ears for one simple reason; the AFL media are far too conservative, lazy and complacent to look for new voices and most fans are too conservative to let them without complaining. They know we will pay attention no matter bad, old or boring the content is - just look at Trade Radio as a perfect example of how desperate we are to consume AFL media. Why would they try harder?
Look at mugs like Gerard Wheatley and Mark Robinson, the same old presenters for 15 YEARS with the same old hackneyed routine. It's stagnation, masked as tradition.
We could find presenters and journalists a hundred times more professional than Damien Barrett if we actually wanted to, but he keeps his job even though his bosses know that they could find loads of better options, because they think he's part of the tradition and even that he's beloved by AFL audiences, and even if he isn't who really cares, we'll still watch, and just moan about it! They're right!
Let's face it, It takes ZERO talent and not even that much work to do what he does. His brainfart opinions, his ridiculous sliding doors article and his soporific appearances on TV and radio add nothing to the landscape, but the alternative is to find a new voice, and the stations who cover AFL just cannot be bothered. A shame.
It’s debatable based on who we draft or how we use that pick.
8 + 32 for 15+16+21 could potentially be considered a win aswell.
Could Reef McGuiness play 3rd tall? Has shown signs forward but struggled to often
Cumberland is the other we could throw a lifeline with a preseason in defence. Just trying to think out of the box. Any third talls being delisted aren’t worth the list spot but giving a forward a go with some ability but inconsistent has worked plenty in the past.Someone will pick him up I think, he showed plenty in the VFL this year.

Only if he comes with a yacht.Chad Kroeger delisted from Nickelback/Collingwood, any chance of a delisted ruck pick up?
Sounds like a good idea, but there’ll be 10+ teams thinking the same.Might have been mentioned already, but surely we can talk to Richmond about 10 or 11 this year, for our future pick(s).
Has anyone got news on that?
When are the club going to get you on the payroll?I've been researching the state leagues for players. Max Knobel is one to watch on Freo's list. Getting crazy hit out numbers in the WAFL. His Gippsland Power ruck partner Harvey Howe looks like he's going pretty well in SANFL and is huge. Could probably play straight up and would be a rookie contract.

Stole a living for a decade trundling around in the Twos with absolutely no interest in doing more.
Good gig if you can get it.
Please tell me you aren't referring to Noah Cumberland? lol.Cumberland is the other we could throw a lifeline with a preseason in defence. Just trying to think out of the box. Tom has a work ethic…Tom Campbell says hi, though i think Tom would have been very pleased to have Jayden's skillset.
I was gonna say, I have memories of ackland taking a series of mini knee in the back speccies for us that year, he was goodHistory gripe: for his first 20 games at St Kilda, Ackland was very good. Finished 8th in the B&F in 2005 (in a quality year with three AAs, and a B&F winner who was not AA). He hurt his knee late in the season and was never the same.
If we had a guy with a last name like that we’d go to the top of Kane Cornes’s most hated team listCould Reef McGuiness play 3rd tall? Has shown signs forward but struggled to often
I visited the crows board to see who they think they would take in the draft and noticed NWM ( Pou also featured) mentioned a couple times on the latest page. Ran a search of their forum for NWM and turns out he's been a bit of a talking point to trade for him. Couple tried floating trades this year which was obviously never gonna happen but seems he is a big target next year as he comes ooc?
Is that a realistic target? Should we be watching what they do with futures? I'd have NWM in the untouchable bracket and can't think of a package they could offer that would make us feel like winners of the trade. Or is this just one of those things we will have to put up with consistently due to SA origins. I also wouldn't consider Pou to be traded.
From Cockburn too!We got linked to this bloke by the West Australian a couple of days ago…

We should be aggressively targeting some of theirs. It’s not surprising that the Crows board will target NWM. He’s from SA and he’s a star.
It’s up to us to lock the lad up early. Offer him a long term deal. Front load it if necessary.
It’s been commented that he has now settled in Melbourne and has laid down some roots in his life here. He also seems to be very happy at the club with a young group developing together.
It’s a predatory competition. We should prioritise the long term re-contracting of NWM, Phillipou and Wilson.
