I am not convinced of his core and balance but he looks as though he could be versatile and at least has a crack.

I would start him on a wing for a left footer and see how he goes, ease him into the guts when required. Maybe he can be valuable to us by playing a few positions well
This kid looks the goods as a midfielder!

I’m watching the McAuliffe-focused U18 championship games, and one thing about McAuliffe is that he gives away so many free kicks 😭 Fits right into our side.

In all seriousness, I like that he doesn’t shy away from contests and has high work rate around them. Goes straight in and keeps going. We need youngsters like that, so he looks like a pretty solid pick.

His kicking needs a bit of work though from what I saw.

Missed most of the preseason apparently so only started getting his power and strength back late in the year which showed in his combine results. Chance for a few games next year you'd think.

How did he fall to 40 if he is rated so highly?
Wondering the same thing, considering those draft combine results and the highlights package. Maybe the endurance isn’t there alongside the speed and vertical jump.

There’s been some decent inside mids that have slipped in NDs over the years.

Be nice to get a steal.

How did he fall to 40 if he is rated so highly?
Because he's not. That's why he went at 40.

Has some good attributes but like anyone at this level of pick there's a long way to go. His form is against a lower level of opponent and his kicking is a bit sketchy at times.
