He needed to come off he was a complete fumbling butcher. How was his backwards kick straight to a crows player. Loved him when he could play now he is a massive liability no more beyond this year.
Gets another year.

There's nothing to gain as sub. It's a pointless role that stifles young players. Keep it for the oldies you're phasing out that don't need the gametime, like the Pickett and McIntosh types and you know they can play a full game if needed.

With kids, either play them full time or develop them in the VFL. You can sub them off if they aren't up to it but keeping them on the pine to play 15 minutes is completely pointless.

Great news the kid wants to stay at Tigerland a young bull in the making

Another full preseason under the belt to build his tank and Kane will absolutely blossom

Adding Kane with Tim and potential first round mid with Jacob Tyler and Jack rotating through this will transform our team.

Forward line has been in dire straights but Tom Jacob Liam and Mykelti fit and Junior terrorising at their feet this will be transforming.

Who on Earth is Jacob Tyler?

Love this, but wondering, how do we fit all of Taranto, Hopper, Ross, McAuliffe into the same midfield? Especially given we’re apparently trying to KEEP Graham. That’s five inside mids without much pace.

Unless we’re going to return Taranto to his forward-mid role from GWS given Dusty and potentially Bolton are gone…

McAuliffe has elite pace. As we build our list with quality yonug mids I can see Taranto spending more time forward, Ross might spend some time on the wing or become depth again and Hopper will probably just be a bench rotation when he's not injured :p

I think Taranto will eventually move forward once the next wave of kids develop and Hopper we would probably try move on at some point once he serves his purpose.

Super important player for us. The only thing that stopped him being a real highlight of a down season was his lack of run from contest to contest. He looks like a seasoned player around the ball. Doesn't fumble, hits it hard, good agility, uses it well. If he can get that running game up and going he could be a big hit next year. Follow Prestia around all preseason. Might take 2 preseasons yet.

It’s a good question, especially given we should be taking 2 top 10 mids this draft.

Graham/Bolton/Baker should leave giving us a midfield rotation of Taranto, McAuliffe, Hopper, Ross, Prestia and our 2 draft picks. Not even considering Dow is still on the list.

We would really want the 2 draft picks to have elite agility and spread ( one of FOS/Jagga and a power mid like Lalor, Langford, Draper etc. )

It’s a solid starting point. To me Hopper and Prestia take the lowest priority with the need to develop young mids.

If/when we get another early pic, could we use it on the best key forward in the draft. Seems to me that is also one of our most pressing need.
