Terrific win - worst of the conditions by far, lose arguably our most important cricketer and the key difference between the two teams

Walk into headingley 2-0 up

Ashes cricket is only competitive when it’s in England when they have home conditions

It’s a walkover here

Gulf in talent between two teams

Putting aside all the negativity (don't get me wrong - I love beating the Poms as much as anybody), I'm loving the combative, in your face stuff in this series. Pretty soon, we'll be back to flogging the West Indies inside 3 days: give me this stuff any day!!!

Sook it up pricks.
Yesterday it was all thats the rules.
Today its thats not the spirit of cricket.
Turn it up
Yep

Picking and choosing

Stuart "didn't walk when he nicked it to slip" Broad was outraged and carried on out on the field.

It's just so beautiful that the Cricket Gods squared things off so quickly after Starc's catch.

Kiwi beers like Speights, Tui, DB or Steinlager.

A very disrespectful comment from Stokes, in my opinion. Every Australian in the crowd respected him and his side. He didn't tell his fans to show us any respect. Yet he says Captain Pat should have seriously considered "the spirit of the game," and he would have if he were in Cummins's shoes for that Bairstow dismissal. That's the way it works in England. One way for their own, another for everyone else. You wouldn't get that here in Australia. And seeing the English fans in the Long Room call us cheats is one of the worst things I've ever seen in cricket. Very disrespectful.

It was only last years that a similar incident occurred that could question Englands supposed superior moral compass.

Except when he was captain and it happened to Colin DeGrandHolme he didn't did he.

Worrying about the "spirit of the game" is loser speak

Winners do whatever it takes within the rules of the game

England once used lollies to manipulate the ball in order to win.

Their fans loved them for it.

South Africa once used lollies to manipulate the ball in order to win.

Their fans loved them for it.

Australia used some sandpaper to manipulate the ball and their 'fans' wanted them banned for life.
