He really should rest. No-one with stage 2 chronic renal failure should exercise whilst suffering from a virus which affects the vascular system
To be fair, there is a lot of research showing that no-one should undertake vigorous exercise whilst they have covid.

I disagree with Cummins on this. But if he was asked point blank about his view and he expressed it, then so what? It is hard to dodge without lying.

Could always say no comment that’s not my area of expertise

He was asked for his ******* opinion. Seriously. An opinion anyone of us have on a variety of topics that we aren't 'experts' in.

Still don’t have to give the opinion, no comment would suffice.

He has every right to give his opinion! Just like you do on anything!

If you don't agree with it? Cool. We're human beings. We all have differing opinions.

Imagine thinking someone should not voice theiir opinion because it doesnt align with yours. **** me.

LukeParkerno1.. the man who has bagged every test cricketer relentlessly in this forum even though he probably hasnt wielded a cricket bat outside of his backyard since 20 years ago, thinking Pat Cummins shouldn't have an opinion on matters outside of cricket because it's not in his field of expertise.

Laughable stuff.

Why should he make no comment? He's the Australian cricket captain and he speaks his mind, regardless of how many angry boomers don't like it. They already hate him for having an opinion anyway.
You're only on board with it because he made the comment you liked. If he said I bloody love Australia day you'd have a problem with that.

His opinions aren't his, they are media trained statements to keep the woke happy.

Everybody is allowed an opinion on Australia day what it means or doesn't mean to them and also what day it should be on, flag waving nationalists don't have exclusive rights to decide who can speak about this stuff and who is patriotic or not

Your post and assumptions show you up as a poster more than any response I can give you.

Media trained statements?

CA’s statement was sitting on the fence “we acknowledge the day means different things for different people, etc” that’s the media trained response.

Pat spoke his mind, just because he’s intelligent and considered does that mean he’s not being honest. We’re so used to many media types brain farting opinions that when someone is careful and considered with their words we don’t trust it.

If he said he loved Australia Day, no doubt you'd have criticised him for mixing sports and politics?

Pathetic opinion.

He's been genuine and consistent about his views the entire way, even when it cost his hip pocket by not appearing in sponsor ads.

He had a similar opinion to a lot of Australians in their late 20s, and good on him that he's not a coward and actually expresses it.
