May not be himself that pulls the pin in the end.He has indicated internally that he wants to finish at home for the Ashes next year but I can honestly see him pulling the pin earlier if things don’t improve

Keep an eye on the shield game at the MCG today Luke.Sure he’s like one that ball was a good one though, despite at the time I was questioning why he was playing at it.
The alternatives aren’t ready (Konstas) or coming off two decent games after a year of trash (Hunt). He’ll be given till the end of the SL series
But Konstas doesn’t need to be doing it for a year?Hunt is also coming off a terrible year last season. They will want him doing it for a year not just a few games.
Konstas is first in line
He used to be but nowadays I find he puts a fair bit of mayo on. Gun bowler regardless so idm what he does on field. What is Bumrah's carry on? Dude is super reserved
Nothing wrong with him throwing his name out there.Konstas announced after his half century v WA that he wants to wear the baggy green as soon as possible.
So, Test 3 it is.
no wonder that poor bloke behind the sightscreen had to buy 200 at once...Notice we cracked 50k yesterday.
By geez, getting a beer in there was a bloody nightmare.
But Konstas doesn’t need to be doing it for a year?
Hunt has been on Aus A tours and scored big. Tied for Shield player of the year 2 seasons back. Leads the aggregates this season. Bats long like a stereotypical test opener, but that might not be what the selectors want, they may want a Warner type replacement.
I agree with you that Konstas will be next in, but for reasons more than form.

odd looking beer snake...
Only just read his wiki since you linked it. Far too young. For historians I saw that Ken Piesse has a new book out about this guy who I'd never heard of until this morning but sounds like another Archie Jackson, Philip Hughes tale of tragically unfilled talent.

Ask Virat Kohli what he thinks of Khawaja's ability to take a catch.Won’t matter thankfully Konstas scoring runs too. Good we don’t need one of the Average triplets back. He’d be the only bloke to make Khawaja look like a good fielder lol
I'd feel like the Goodyear blimp if I managed to get pissed enough on mid strength to think that was a good idea.

If we picked Test sides based on your opinions there'd be 46 on the field.
At the long break I went out for a smoke and it took about ten minutes in a queue to get back into the member's from the Riverbank. They were serving 420ml SuperDry’s out the back.
Pay waved through all of it.
Just checked the account….medium damaged.
Today, The Pimms Tent.
Will be brutal.

We're looking to get there around 1300hrs which got us good seats yesterday.Stupid question how early should I get there today going with my best mate who is a member. I don’t drink while I’m there we go to a pub before

I'm on my own version of California sober which means a couple of pints in the last session only.We loaded up in the Strath, then got suckered into going to the Riverbank Rooftop bar, no joy there.
Went down to the Magarey Bar, no luck.
Went out the back & they were queing to get into the tents!!!
Said bugger this & went for the Country Cricketers bar, 25 minutes of my life I’ll never get back, then stood on the concourse.
I'm sure you'll say more than one thingOne thing I will say though- any chance of blokes not disrupting play! How hard is it to not make a fool of yourself and do it between overs?
Diving a lot is a symptom of poor footwork and technique, and a sign a keeper isn’t watching the ball. With keeping I remember an interview that Allan Knott did pretty sure it was him (ex English keeper). He basically said you aren’t keeping well (and you’ll be inconsistent at best)if you are diving more than the odd occasion. Pant does it every second ball, Carey has improved this not doing this nearly as much as he did

Same goes for fielding.
