Guess the English bowlers also were in on the Mint-gate.

Well thats one case where whole team was all in on it they admitted they worked out as a team which mints worked best for ball tampering and rather than being attacked they got parades, poms really do live in their own moral universe where what you do it less important than who you are.

It is a both problem. Bairstow was an idiot, the wording of the rules is sh*t and could be easily fixed, and Cummo was a bit of a dog, as other captains in the same situation would have let him off.
this is funny reading given I just watched Strauss say himself that he wouldn't have withdrawn the appeal and Eoin Morgan saying he didn't have any problem with it

I’ve been listening and watching any and all podcasts, highlight shows etc. When you have a lot of high profile ex English cricketers saying they don’t see anything wrong with the dismissal, Bairstow should have shown more awareness and they wouldn’t have have called him back if they were in that position, all those whinging pommy pissheads in the crowd and long room can EABOD.

Not any captains decision to 'Let Him Off' anyway. Umpires call . There were a few appeals. He 'walked' anyway lol.

Hence, divided English supporters, this is what makes it even more hilarious.....they are fighting between themselves lol.

Aussie batsmen would probably be well advised to dispense with the common courtesy of picking up the ball and tossing it to fielding team if the ball stops near them.

I remember Andrew Hilditch being given out “handled the ball” against Pakistan in 1979, when he lobbed the ball to Sarfraz, the bowler. Sarfraz immediately appealed, and Hilditch was given out.

Apparently this was in retaliation for Allan Hurst “mankading” one of the Pakistani players earlier on in the same test. I would hate to see the same thing happen to one of our players.

Yeah, can definitely see Broad appealing for this sort of shit.

Bazball was meant to do us in, now they're staring down the barrel of the worst home result in a generation. It's tetchy over there.

I would love to actually give them an opportunity. Maybe a Starc or Cummins and see if they are really willing to withdraw it

We won’t go into a test without a spinner. Overrates are an issue first and foremost. There’s an old saying “if it seams it spins”.
I don't think Australia would do so either, but if there is a deck that traditionally you might - Headingley could be it (or Trent Bridge). From memory it is usually a seaming deck, and I would think the spinners with most success would be the quicker ones. Kumble, Underwood, so forth.

*checks stats, doesn't quite check out on the faster spinners front
