Where have you been all day mate,I did post earlier in the day that we needed an established batsman in the side and I mentioned your mate Harris, lol. But seriously I agree, call it off.Love to here your selected side for the Boxing Day test.

Xmas shopping unfortunately and no to Harris if we are going a replacement just go for Konstas he’s good enough might be a year too soon but I wouldn’t be against a debut at home

lol.

There are guys in that dressing room that have played international cricket for a decade and a half: they’re aware of how the game works. Being happy that they had taken a big step to avoiding defeat does not mean they would assume today would just be a day of R and R and choosing which variation of naan to have with lunch.
Keep your naan, give me the roti prata or dosa

Oh fmd, Skull and Haddin wanting Edwards and Kontas (no idea how to spell it) to come into the team. Do these NSW flogs ever get tired of this BS. My god it’s like Sky News and everything LNP, no one else exists.

Pat declared. Say no more. I called for Trav and Bison to open. Guess our skipper was not that convinced.
Declaring at 7 down with no more to gain (all the batsmen you want finding form are in the sheds) is giving him a bit too much credit.

Still declared I guess but it definitely wasn’t the plan from the start of the innings otherwise we’d have seen more innovation.

Surely if Inglis is currently in the 14 man squad he will be the first batsman selected if looking for a middle order batsman.

I still don’t love picking two keepers and yes I am a huge Inglis fan. However he is for all intents and purposes a keeper who can bat. Sure he’d bat better than Marsh that’s not saying much though

The Melbourne wicket over the last few seasons usually has a bit in for the bowlers and is one of the better pitches for batters and bowlers and a result.

Never know our captain might win a toss for once lol

Edwards in the conversation is hilarious. Webster the only option if we want to swap allrounders but it feels a little like shuffling deck chairs.

Mass changes now is also dangerous given there’s no stand out options. Might just have to see out the series as is and switch it up for Sri Lanka.

The ins for Melbourne are simple, Boland and Inglis. Josh is as aggressive as Head and has form this season, he’d be a fun in to watch. I’d almost make a third change and Webster for Marsh. We need that extra seamer and spinner, he’s a genuine alrounder.
Bring the NSW kid in as part of the squad for experience, he’s can run gloves out to smith every 2 overs and pick them up off the ground when Smith doesn’t even bother to hand them to him.
Fergus could be the same as a squad player, not quite ready but experience in the squad would be good.
