Selectors should have shown more balls and dropped Marsh for MCG test. The risk paid off with Konstas but giving Marsh too many chances was a fatal mistake

I actually feel for Marsh, the bloke is horribly out of form with the bat and yet Bailey and co continued to pick him.

He was a disaster waiting to happen in this Test and it duly did.

I’m pretty sure he performs like this against every team which is why he’s one of the greats. The only team I think who nullified him was New Zealand in India the last series. Other than that no one can face him

We need a leg spinner of some class - oh yeah, Zampa, but he's just the best ion the world in white ball - couldn't possible have an effect in Tests...I wonder Pope then! Spice it up!

You might play for the movement so the straight one can deceive you as well, he is one hell of a bowler that has them spooked.

Admittedly we did not bowl all that great, but where was the seam assistance India has had today. Was it the ball. Did we have a dud Kooka with a poor seam, less lacquer as the India attack even with Bumrah is not up to our measure, even minus Hazlewood.

Mate, Bumrah is a career 19.7 average/2.76 econ/42 SR bowler. We're not making him look better, this is one of the all-time great fast bowlers who's having a series that'll end up defining his test career.

We're playing awful shots because he's giving absolutely nothing. Even the Konstas innings in the first shows how desperate it got.
