They won’t. One last hurrah and then they will retire back homeIf the Indian selectors don't grow a pair and drop Rohit and Kholi they will keep playing untill they are 45, both are too selfish to do the right thing like Ashwin

Indian cricket fans levels of meltdown make anything this site has looks way too tame.Been created? They’ve got God in their sites tonight as well. And Kangaroos. And venomous dogs. This is pissed levels of pure rage
Let's just flip your earlier comment on its head: "I have seen Australia be unlucky plenty of times before".Yep. Australia probably lucky to win it. They didn't bowl anything special. India just self destructed. Poor cricket.
Australia still have issues of their own going forward that need addressing.
Cummins is a brilliant captain. People should stop hating him just because he isn’t a larrikin. He is smart and he always shows cojones when the game is on the line. He is the opposite of a squib. How many times has he got the job done? We have a lot of great successes over the last years… Ashes, WTC, CWC, hopefully regain BGT. He has been phenomenal and a massive upgrade on the previous bloke90 runs, 6 wickets, good bowling changes and fields, backed in his players to dig in at crucial stages each innings, lead a team that never gave up.
Yep let's just change his nickname to "Lucky" and be done with it.
20 years ago they'd add convicts. Good times.Cheaters, sandpaper, racists, bad winners etc etc
Damn great win spewing I had to leave at 7 down, big shoutout to Indian cheer squad though made a somewhat dull game at times interesting, felt our supporters were rather piss poor on making noise apart from the ass end of the game
At least the world is not short of salt for new years.
Prepare a flat pitch. You know the Indians wouldBat for 5 days just to be campaigners
I think that was the funnest day I've ever had at the cricket - in Australia at least.
The whole thing was such a vibe... from them initially planning to open up a couple of gates this morning with some $10 tickets, you could tell it was big on social media. You could tell it was big as soon as you got to the train station. And then you get on a random train at 9.40am on NY Eve Eve when no one is working, and she's friggen packed.
You get to the MCG, and the whole ground feels a little bit like the MCC on Grand Final morning - people running to get great spots, seeing even the top tier swell in attendance, the crowd slowly growing during that first session to the announcement of the test match record just before lunch, and the Kohli wicket. It was high times going into lunch!
I made a poor decision to switch sides of the oval at lunch, which was about an hour too early. I've come home with a bit of heat exhaustion, but nothing too severe.
The sad thing was that, according to the radio, there were about 61k there at the tea break - I think a lot of people saw Marnus' over of wasteful bullshit the over before tea as Australia laying down our guns. I reckon 20k of them left at the tea break.
I'm glad I fought on, I'd had a feeling all day about this game, and I wasn't quite ready to give it up by the tea break - I was going to give it at least another half an hour. One of my better decisions made in recent times!
Outstanding day, capping off a bloody outstanding test match. Didn't quite end up being the two-way contest I went in hoping for, but I'm not disappointed, it was a phenomenal day.
Tim Paine would have been out of reviews by lunchHow crucial was it that we didn't burn all our DRS challenges. Wilson could have killed us.
Well I thought tectonic plate movement over millions of years would be a little dull to have them melting about. God is way easier to give a drive by to in a rageGod ? You and him both need an education
I've never cared about what India cricket supporters think, they're a bunch of looney tunes. How's the Indian cricket fans forum going?
Pressure builds pressure westie, happens a bit in these situations where one team drops their bundleHonestly India shat the bed 7 wickets on the last sess hahahha
Ah, the sandpaper jibes, because India have never ball-tampered, ever.Cheaters, sandpaper, racists, bad winners etc etc
He's nutted up several times when the batsman have failed. Some huge match winning digs in both innings. A massive one with the bat in the ashes chasing.Cummins is a brilliant captain. yeah but even up with today result BGman....honestly india shat the bed with that one....7 wickets in the sess and still 15 overs to go ...ahhahahahahaStill work to do to bring home the Trophy when we shud now have wrapped the series but were robbed by Brisbane weather.
Not to mention the energy he provided in the first innings which set us up nicely.Konstas going to silly point and irritating Jaiswal kind of changed the game.
Prepare a flat pitch. You know the Indians would
