How TF did you get to that conclusion? Bumrah was starting his run off when Usman was not even at the crease. Bumrah kept trying to run in, and Konstas just gently waved him back and said he (Usman) wasn’t ready yet. Bumrah went off his nut after that while Konstas held his ground. Konstas does not have to bow down to anybody, regardless of talent or reputation. The kid did exceptionally well… Usman… not so well.

They wasted a little time like everyone in world cricket... They got 9 balls down to 3. It was smart cricket, the issue was Ussie playing a full ball on the back foot again.

It looked like (and I'm watching on tv ) that Bumrah was into his run up and then was stopped , smartly he was then going to bowl of a short run to hurry Khawaja up .

I probably would have done what Konstas did to make sure my partner was ready . So no issue there . He certainly is in the Indians heads which is quite bizarre really .
He is a lightening rod at the minute and we need him making runs , not just being antagonistic to opposition.

Yes I agree it happens but I am an advocate that the batsman by law should have to be ready to face when the bowler is ready to bowl. The laws could be changed to stop this.
