Why do people care so much? It's all part of the drama, Bumrah has basically carried them on his shoulders, Konstas was winding him up and he strikes the very next ball of course he's going to go to him and give him some our players would do the exact same.

I remember this being the case for AFL - claims about "they all attend elite private schools" was not because they were blue-blood toffs but because they received scholarships to go there.

It's a very complicated system and VERY entrenched. There are virtually non stop articles in the Indian media questioning why the top two castes get "favouritism" in not just cricket.
They may well be breaking down the barriers slowly, but the attitudes might take a tad longer.
Here's a shock for you all. Gavaskar is a Brahmin. As is Ganguly.

One you have two players/participants involved , like yesterday . It's on field during the game . Yes the day is over but it's still game on.
The other one is a coach/official instigating something with opposition player/players after the game has finished .
Totally agree on the age thing , once your out there at elite sport your out there and fair game .
As was you being called out in here for flying the Palestinian flag whilst calling for violence against Konstas.

Of course they can but it speaks volumes that of all the players that have chirped them over time they choose the youngest and least physically imposing to get physical and most aggressive at.

The first hour today will be enthralling
It’s going to be gripping cricket this morning.
I think what should be focused on is not Konstas, but virat. He has now twice deliberately lined up an opposition player with the express intent to intimidate and although he didn’t make physical contact this time, it’s extremely poor behaviour from a statesman who wasn’t involved in either yeaterdays incident or that at the MCG.
I had grown respect for Kohli over the past few years, as he had seemed to have abandoned this type of behaviour that he was known for at the start of his career. I admired his technique and stroke play as well as his innings management. However his onfield behaviour has been quite disgraceful this series, and he has really lowered his colours.
We all applaud the youthful energetic fearless way Sam has begun his test career, we have to remember he is a 19 yr old who has ascended to the highest office in Australian cricket practically overnight. I’m sure the statesmen of Australia will get around him and help channel this into productive performance, without bleaching him of any personality.
