That would be absurd with Sheezles first half to year..I think he absolutely can win the rising star

The clearance at 1.48. Even LDU would have said wtf.The kicks @1.04, @1.53 & @2.10. Elite vision combined with elite kicking.
The sky is the absolute limit with this kid.
It shouldn't work that way though. The nom should be based on the performance in a stand alone game, not cumulative performance over several games.Body of work nom. No problem with it at all
There’s every chance George ends up better than JHF head to head anyway. On and off field.
Very true. Every time I have the misfortune to hear Korn speak he takes about 0.34 seconds to refer to the response from his own tweets. For all their faults, all of those guys particularly Lyon talk about the excitement and the games without resorting to cheap and nasty put downs or click bait.
It was so strange, there was so much hate directed at Jase from the get go, his first couple of games were just as good. They weren't creaming their pants like that after JHFs first 3 games.
Because everyone knew the fix was in and felt a tad uncomfortable? It was so strange, there was so much hate directed at Jase from the get go, his first couple of games were just as good.
Honestly don’t know certainly wouldnt be surprised, it just felt combative from the get go, for a first year player was weird. Wasn’t like he’d done anything different, just attacked the ball and man.Because everyone knew the fix was in and felt a tad uncomfortable?
in hindsight JHF did us a massive favour. if he'd waited until his contract was up, we would've gotten a year of disengaged, shitty performance from him and one of Wardlaw and Sheezel would be playing somewhere else. Then we'd trade him at a lower value because he's out of contract, and get someone who's going to take longer to be ready than Wardlaw and Sheezel, who are both game-ready now and will only grow in ability as Jy, LDU, Zurhaar, Larkey etc. are in their prime. Was thinking about this today and take the ill-feeling out of it and it's potentially a win-win.
Let's say Jason had come to us mid 2022 and opened up wanting to head home, mental issues, no hard feelings. Sure it might even generated less internet traffic. But the outcome under these "friendly" trading conditions probably would've ended up much the same - get an equivalent, preferably local kid.
Which we did. Now we all move on.
Disagree. It was so strange, there was so much hate directed at Jase from the get go, his first couple of games were just as good.
Even considering the game alone, there's not a lot of reason to be pissed off. 16 touches, 7 marks with 2 contested, a goal and a goal assist is a nice statline. There's a bit of angst on here about Rising Star noms which just doesn't need to be aired imo. As Clarko would say, George's time will comeIt shouldn't work that way though. The nom should be based on the performance in a stand alone game, not cumulative performance over several games.

Well we are ****ing due . If it’s pick 15-18 we are due for some luck. A highly rated slider will do just fine..We’ll pick up another gun with Ports first this year.
Its Port that really needs to move on
