All this misguided arrogance will make it even sweeter when you fail in September
Elliot fasolo aish are all back playing vfl and have been in full training for 5 weeks. Pies have deliberately made them do a mini preseason. All 3 will be back next week. The fact they haven’t played much this year is irrelevant you don’t lose talent. De goey will be back in 2 weeks. Reid is in full training and has been for 3 weeks too. He will play vfl next week. Treloar has been running for 2 weeks now and has said he will be back by round 22. Goldsack has been in full training for 3 weeks now.
I take you back to lions September hero Clarke Keating. Didn’t play for most of the year due to injury got himself right at the business end and destroyed teams.
Make no mistake if tigers had even half of our injury list you would not beat the pies. In our first meeting we lost aish Maynard and Reid during the game. And back then you again ran away in last quarter.. you have been blessed and chances are it won’t happen a 3rd time. Look forward to seeing you in September

Love the way Aish is a key out . Had a fair few of those names in last time and lost by 7 goals !
Yeah we did have a few of them last time but we didn’t have a lot of players that also played today back then. Basically been our story all year. Watch what happens when they all finally play together for the first time . Moore Elliot fasolo were our leading goal kickers last year.
Imagine WHE Stephenson cox Thomas de goey Elliot & fasolo playing together which hasn’t happened in not 1 single game this year.

You seem to have an issue with aish? Or is that the best you can reply with ?
Let’s just wait and see what happens. Premiership aren’t won in July.. longway to go in the season and only time will tell what happens.
For mine the players out as such aren’t the issue. Yeah we would be a better side with them but we could have won with out them Howe and Shaz we out early in the game and Mihocek was hardly sighted after rolling his ankle. Losing the ability to rotate and rest players hurt us big time and we faded.
Maybe we if we don’t pick up those injuries we fade out in the last anyway, maybe we win you will never know
One thing of interest to come out of todays game is Richmonds handling of Cox off the ball before the ball is delivered into the forward line.
In recent weeks Cox has been a fairly dominant target, not only taking contested marks and kicking goals in his own right but also in his ability to give a contest and bring the ball to ground for Stephenson etc. He was taken out of the contest several times today.
Several commentators, Matthews, Carey etc made comment on this and declared some of the interference tactics questionable at best.
Hopefully the umpires will be savvy to this in future.

I think you're missing the point. Pie supporters are incuding players of similar quality on the current injury list. Pies have a handful of quality players out, no Tiger disputes that, the rest are fringe players making up the numbers.
Time to man up as a club and stop blaming injuries on everything .

Rubbish. Griff got concussed and never played again.
I wouldn’t hold my hopes on those 3 players. Imagine tigers lost rance & grimes like we lost Howe & sharenberg during the game? And not to mention mihocek who was on 1 leg.
Also You can’t say that Elliot treloar de goey fasolo Reid aish won’t be better than daicos brown (both too raw still) Mayne Murray & Varcoe. That is what you call massive upside.
Elliot hasnt played for donkeys years,Aish howe reid played and fasolo and Goldsack are hardly stars

Probem with this is a complete lack of continuity. Player after player. Soft tissue, season ending etc.
There's a bad run with injuries and then there is a REALLY bad run with injuries.
Pies were down 2 makeshift key defenders most of the game. Only an idiot would suggest that has no effect on the outcome. We'll never know how much.
