I wasn't that invested in the result but f**k this, feel so pissed off on Carlton's behalf. Blues have played so well and were practically robbed.

Plowman should have been given a free but so should Josh Thomas.

What else was there?

Sidebottom got a free for dropping the ball mid tackle Leigh Matthews style.
Plowman was tackled to the ground in the Collingwood goalsquare before the ball even arrived.
Plowman had his arms chopped x2.
Cripps was tunneled, free kick paid against him.
Collingwood blatently throwing the ball all day.
Just a few off the top of my head. The first one pissed me off the most really, it's like the rules have regressed by half a century.

Edit - Also saw it mentioned on here that Plowman still managed to get a touch on the ball as he was tackled to the ground, so the goal shoud've been disallowed. Not sure about that one, otherwise it would've been called back

Would have been more fairly adjudicated if there were no umps and we left the umpiring to team runners.

Wow, I'll take that, I thought the game was gone early in the last.
We were lucky to get the win but 4 points is 4 points.

Carlton were really good and outplayed us for most of the game. Unlucky for them. And Cripps is an absolute gun, one of my favourite players to watch.

Bullshit. In a close game like that there is no way one side should receive 3 times the free kicks. 2 of the last three goals to Collingwood clearly showed Carlton players being tackled in a marking contest which is blatantly illegal. One of those goals also showed it was touched by a Collingwood player. Despite being replayed 3 times before the bounce of the ball, the reviewer apparently couldn't see it was touched despite every goal being reviewed. Carlton were ****ed over.

every goal is reviewed before the bounce lol. It was called a goal and nothing was shown to turn it over.

There was vision at end of 3rd qtr Pendlebury chatting with the umps. Gave them the inspirationals to get the Pies over the line. Full 4qtr effort from the umps. Collingwood 29000000 free kicks, Carlton minus 4

You are joking of course, when Carlton gets double fifty a rule that is not needed who invented it who fiddled and changed it needs to be removed from the position he's in and sacked.
That was a great game until about 10 minutes left and goddamned umpire changed the whole situation then Collinwood I am told scores back with some frees but worse get a payback goal from a 50 metre. Really no gets favours in this game any more , what happens is umpires rule on rules that should be discarded, it a game now that because of umpire influence and not player influence made the game turn out like it did. Game getting worse, who was the winner well in actuality know one knows

The only reason you highlight that free is because it was the ONLY Carlton free kick ALL GAME. It was 24-8 for crying out loud 24-8!
