I just don't get why so many in the media are celebrating Ginnivan ducking as "excellent forward craft".

Encouraging this behaviour will lead to just more players adopting it, actively making the game worse to watch than it already is.

More than that, it's contrary to the point of the rule in the first instance, which is to protect the head. Now we are apparently celebrating players who look to draw head contact on purpose.

It's just idiotic.
