They would be delusional if you didnt with so many players that wont be there in the next 2 years
Houli , Edwards , castagna , Cotchin , Astbury , Tarrant , Riewoldt , Grimes , Prestia and possibly Martin & Lynch by end of 2025.
So you mean we need to wait another 30 years for our next re-incarnation of Premiership players?

Really surprised Richmond are betting favourites here. Saints have been much better thus far this year and I think they’ll win this one by 4-5 goals.

So am I, and can only put it down to form.
Saints started very strong but have dropped off, while the tigers have been building through the past few weeks.

I'd consider a bet on the saints to be better value here.

Must be tough for the Saints.

First the got the second best Reiwoldt, now they have the second best King.

While we might have “dropped off” a bit on our early form, we’ve still won twice in Sydney in the last 3 games, and while the 10 point loss to Hawthorn in between seemed really bad at the time, it’s now really clear that Hawthorn are currently vastly better than their ladder position suggests.

In the last month they’ve beaten two current top 5 teams, won another game by 116 points, and once they actually started to play against Port, they outscored them by 5 goals in the 2nd half, in Adelaide. Without Sicily. We took them lightly, with one eye on the bye the following week, and paid the price.

Our win against a likewise favourite in the betting Sydney last week (in Buddy’s 350th) was full of merit, as was Richmond’s win against Freo, so this has the potential to be a cracking contest.

Not sure what people are seeing in St Kilda at the moment. Barely scraped by an injury ravaged Swans in what was a pretty woeful performance by both clubs.

The stop start game style by Ross Lyon will be perfectly counted by Richmond who thrive on that approach.
Thanks for letting us live rent free in your head. It's a bit sparse though, so we're moving in some furniture & carpet to help fill the void.
As a show of thanks, we'll pay to get some professional cleaners in. The smell of cat piss is a tad overwhelming.

Rent free, St Kilda?
Only Freo would feel a little envious of your teams history.

I'm just confused as to why people are rating them so highly. Some are talking them up to be top four material but the last month they have lost to Adelaide and Hawthorn and other than Membrey, Jones and Billings, have a healthy list to choose from.
Now they face Richmond, Brisbane and Melbourne. This next month will tell us just exactly where the Saints are at.

Geelong showed us where they are at against Port last night, a long way off being a premiership contender and they might struggle just to play finals.

I would be more worried about your team than ours if I was you.

The club must be doing something right to have you enthralled with everything St Kilda. You are in every thread St Kilda related.

Me personally, if i see a cats thread, opening that thread would be akin to me being stuck in traffic at 8am on Punt Road.

He's in every Richmond thread too. He is a troll. Don't bother.

I'm really not in every St Kilda thread at all.
I was surprised they were underdogs last week considering Swans had no quality defenders. Was dumbfounded as to why they played such a high possession and slow paced style. Would have thought with King (204cm) you just pump it it in there as quickly as possible with the quality smalls at his feet.

But anyway, this should be a good game.
Feels like Richmond will counter the defensive strategy Ross will deploy right throughout.

You had Geelong winning last nights game against a rampaging port thats been beating all that come and on their own turf
Geelong had a terrible start to the season and had a circuit breaker against a ravaged Hawks Eagles & Sydney then 2 decent wins against Bombers / Crows at alphabet park.

Apart from the Bombers/Crows wins Cats have been terrible and Clangerfield with his latest injury will probably be out another 2-3 weeks
St Kilda is currently 75 klms ahead of Geelong which is the distance to the MCG from Alphabet park

Every Pussy wants to be a Tiger , They even have Richmond players as their profile pictures

Maybe change that to Clangerfield now that he is injured

What would you rather have?

8 years of Ross Lyon or 10 years of ken Hinkley? LoL

I don't think it's about rating them against the current best teams. Rather it's about rating them against Richmond for tonight's game. A case could be made for both sides to the positive and to the negative.
