I've never seen a supporter base more ungrateful to a man who took them from a hot bin fire under tarps to a routinely competitive team. He is 5-2 and the Port supporters still going hard for the sacking.

Absolutely disgraceful.

How could you not love this smile?

Vocal Minority unfortunately- think premierships just fall in your lap

Lol what a cry baby.

Jhf doesn’t get to decide who north picks, or any other club.

you’re club is supposedly grown ass professionals, they make the decisions. Focus on them you *******.

Jhf asked for a trade, like literally 1000’s of players before him and you got compensated.

Imagine trying to pot shot a young star player after he won us the game with his performance.
Well done JHF, the kid is a powerhouse. can't blame him wanting to shift.

Frees 28-14.
How many resulted in direct shots on goal? Or how many times did JHF fend off and not get pinged for HTB? Or how many times did a Saints player get blocked off the ball when trying to mark in our f50? Stop complaining about the free kick count, it's pathetic because Saints should of had 10 more frees from an undisciplined Port. Your team gave away the frees not the umps pulled them from their arse. Hinkley had no ****ing clue because in his presser he even admitted he doesn't know the rules and needs clarity.

Nah! Saints were given a dream run by the umps, and still couldn’t get over the line.

I’m unbiased, as were the other neutral posters, whereas you are hopelessly conflicted. The neutrals were almost unanimous in saying Port were reamed.

On one hand you defend the umpires and the lopsided free kick count, then in the next breath you reckon the Saints should have got at least another 10 frees that the umpires missed. Make up your mind.

Lol **** off. Bullshit

Port got the rough end of the stick

Also the fact you’re not clued in enough to know that Hinkley was trying to sugarcoat / avoid getting fined / ask about the frees without getting everyone to offside tells me so much.

As much as we want him to he can’t come out and say that the umpires are entirely influenced by vic media and it causes them to subconsciously swing one way.

The jhf debacle proves what I’m saying

It’s zero coincidence that the same player who copped a beating from the vic media all off-season has been the worst umpired player.

Not at all, all I'm saying is the umpires was shit, Port won but continually go on about how they were disadvantaged by the umpiring. Excuses on why they didn't beat us by more, maybe enjoy the win.
Saints will be fine, we have North, Crows, Giants and the Hawks before the bye, we bring back King and we will be sweet.
I see us either 9-3 or if we get up over crows in SA (I don't think so) 10-2.
I'm very happy considering we were predicted a bottom 4 teams by the experts.

Dude, I don't think you were listening. Hinkley said for the first 6 rounds they have been in the red because of hold free kicks, he's talking about your players doing the wrong thing and needed clarity but keep churning out that same old narrative although you have only played two games in Victoria this year.

Bergman and Williams are great, probably flying under the radar outside of the Port fan base but these 2 have been great every time I've tuned in.

Williams has saved his career. Massive turnaround.

Looks so composed and natural.

We’ve got on paper one of the worst set of key defenders around, but Bergman is doing a hell of a job protecting them by contesting everything that he can get to.

Yeah, he’s asking what we’re doing wrong. It’s the tactic he’s taking to address it

What’s he going to do? Call the umps ****wits?

He’s chosen diplomacy.

What he should do is what Ross did, call the umpires for clarity and rectify the problem. Not my clubs fault you have a dud coach.

Huh? Wtf are you on about? Isn’t he doing the exact thing Ross did?
Not at all, Ross said during the week that he called the umpiring boss for clarity not having a whine after the game about how they are being treated. Coaches are allowed to ask questions and get clarity, not just wait 6 weeks and complained they are being treated unfairly. Show poor coaching if you don't clarify rules of the game and then sook about being penalised for not knowing.

Look, the Victorian umpires are simply biased against interstate teams. What they see as a free for the home Vic team they do not see the same infringement for the interstate teams. Last night was another typical performance. You would've lost by 4 to 5 goals if not for the favourably biased umpiring.

Lol what bizarre shit is this?

You know Ross asked questions about umpiring rules after the game too yeah?

Ross is angry the umpires didn't cheat enough to get his side the win. The agreement was to do whatever it took to get St kilda home, even if it was 35-5 instead of 28-14.

I do believe and I quote

"We're aware of it, we're working at it, but we seem to be keeping on doing it, so we must have something wrong with the umpiring of the game."

This suggests calling the umpires and asking for clarification has already been done, players have responded accordingly, yet the discrepancies are there.

As players and as a club they have done everything in their control to rectify the situation but it still continues.

So it would be fair to say the problem does not exist within Port.
