LOL! O'Reilly was the only "mid" who applied any pressure and he gets cut.

Lost the plot.
His name is O'Brien and if you've seen any of our games this year you would understand why he's been dropped. He can't mark, he can't kick and our midfield was obliterated in the first half against the Hawks. Easy to apply a few more tackles when you drop an easy mark and have to then tackle your opponent.

Strachan can actually kick, can actually mark and is on par in terms of ruck work.

O'Brien should've been dropped weeks ago.

Losing the plot is bringing a spud like McHenry back.

Have you seen our forwardline? No Tex, Rankine or Cook (who's kicked a few this year), will be our weakest for the season. I don't think we will lose, but can't imagine this is getting to triple digit loss figures for your mob.
Would be nice if it is one of those games where both sides score ~50-60 points. Maybe not for Adelaide, but that’s a good break for us

Fogarty up forward is a key difference in the line ups because he is a designated KPF with over 90 games worth of experience.

Richmond get Bolton back which is huge but will have to rely on Ryan and Koschizte to be competitive in the contest and bring the ball to ground.

I'll be hoping Ryan can build on the couple of nice grabs he took last week and add to his goal tally as well.

The Richmond injury excuses don't fly this week, with their returning players and the Crows losing a few more. Bolton, Taranto and Prestia are a stronger cast than Martin, Pickett and Smith. Kozzy is a downgrade on Lefau but more than cancelled out by the other upgrades.

Absentees:

Lynch, Gibcus, Grimes, Lefau, Hopper, Martin, Pickett, MRJ.

vs

Walker, Crouch, Rankine, Cook, Milera, Worrell, Himmelberg.

I'd add Jack Ross to that list of useful missing Tigers.

It really hurts having no proven tall key position forwards with Richmond.

Both teams suffering significant outs but the Crows have had a better taste of promising results over the last 5 rounds which could translate to an advantage in form and mindset.

Yeah Tigers absentee list is still significant, don't get me wrong.

I just think things are more balanced than in most Richmond games this season.

Adelaide just got thrashed by Hawthorn as well. I'd say Richmond played much better than them last week.

Agreed mate. Strangely this could be a gettable game for the Tigers. I say strangely because it's been such a drought that it is very odd to be going into a game on a more even footing.

I don't think our history in SA against the Crows has ever been very good though.

Hoping for a good fight to the very end even if a win is not the final result.

No not at all, it's more that I can't stand richmond and enjoy seeing them get smashed.
I get it. Easy to turn into a hater when your own team is crap. I’d probably be lying if I said that I haven’t done the same thing at times this year. Could be the sole reason why I watch Carlton games nowadays.

Anyways, what loss do you want Richmond to have today on the scale of a regulation 50-point loss all the way to West Coast’s 171-point loss to Sydney last year?

No not a recent thing at all, I've never liked richmond in the least.
A loss like you had against GC would be nice.
